Thank you. That was very pleasant and interesting
Was lucky enough to visit with Donna at her studio while visiting beautiful Shetland this summer. Her yarn is womderful to work with and her patterns are very detailed and easy to follow. I have already made a Wearing Cardigan and can’t wear to try more patterns. She’s a very talented and welcoming entrepreneur.
What a treat! Thank you for taking the time to record this. Lovely to meet and hear you.
What A Dream. You're Living My Dream. Hard Work, Hand Knits. 💜 That Indigo Dyeing Is Probably In The Top 10 Coolest Things I've Ever Seen. Many Of Those Things Are God Made.

So good to see this lovely video pop up and great to see more about the Wearing jumper, it’s my birthday in August and top of my list to treat myself to is your lovely kit to make one for myself. I love the idea of making several in differing sizes. I have your book and it’s so beautiful. 😊❤️
Wow! Donna!!! I was so happy to see you and this little visit. Thank you for popping in and telling us all about everything. The tall ships sound wonderful. I have long admired your wool! A big hug from the very far away Yukon Territory of subarctic Canada.
Truly loved hearing about your dyeing process and seeing glimpses of your life in Shetland!
Donna it was wonderful to see you and to see your Croft and a peek into your process of dyeing your yarns. Enjoy the Tall Ships Festival🙌😎🙏

I really enjoyed your video Donna! I have knitted a number of your beautiful patterns with your lovely DK wool and also love your book. I look forward to hearing more about your laceweight yarn. Thank you!!
What a wonderful video. I’ll be buying 2 of your books - one for me and one for my sister-in-law! My new double treadle spinning wheel will arrive early next week, so I’m looking forward to spinning some Shetland fleece, which can be bought from Alberta, Canada. I know my sister-in-law loves to knit with Shetland wool, so she’ll also be getting some home spun fibre :-). Yours in Gratitude.
What a lovely episode, so interesting! I've liked and subscribed and look forward to visiting again. I'm a small farmer in the US, with a small flock of Shetland sheep so especially enjoyed seeing your sheep and yarns!
That was so lovely Donna - I love your patterns but have only knitted one so far - the Toonsmal hat - it’s so snug and cosy and it’s Winter here in Tasmania at the moment! So I live on an island too - just at the other end of the world 😂
Hello from Alabama Donna! I loved seeing some of your Langsoond patterns “live.” I’ve been wanting to knit one of your sweaters/cardigans for a while, and hearing you talk about them helps me decide. I also enjoyed seeing you use your yarn in an Erika Knight pattern. I hope you will do more videos. Thank you!
Lovely to see the contrast of your lovely natural shades. The Clod colour is one of my favourites and I love my earthy cardigan in this yarn!
Great podcast!

Well, done, Skye! And thank you for a wonderful video. It fills my heart to “meet” you and the sheep. Now to pick a pattern for the yarn you’ve just sent. Following and sending appreciation from Wisconsin USA.
I've actually listened to this twice. The first time I had not seen the book. I then looked up your beautiful web site and looked at your book, then listened again. I love your explanations and stories about the projects you are working on. I look forward to learning more about your sheep and life. I would love to make the "wearing jumper". You make it look so comfortable and yet it has an elegance to it. Diane from Claremont South Dakota
I recently made your wearing cardigan and it is now my most favourite sweater. The fit is superbe! Thank you😊
So happy to find you on KZread. I'm heading to Shetland at the end of May and looking forward to visiting your store to buy some of your beautiful yarn and your book!
Thank you for your podcast. I do envy your lifestyle. Beautiful. I am having trouble getting a copy of Thatch, the cardigan you knitted. Do you have any tips on how I can get hold of it?
The colour change on the indigo was amazing to watch. I'm wanting to start natural dying wool and that has really inspired me. I've just bought your bm and can't wait to make the wearing jumper.
Hello from the middle of Sweden a town called Sundsvall. I really found your channel interesting, and looking forward to seeing more of your videos in the future. Thank for this episode …❣️👍🏼🧶🥢
Loved your video Donna, thank you. The chemistry of the indigo dyeing is amazing. I was fortunate to be able to buy some of your yarn earlier this year, it is so beautiful. Best wishes from New Zealand

Hello from Belgium. So wonderful to see your croft and the wool. I've had a nice workshop with you in The Netherlands (i think 6 years ago), and yesssss : i will come to Shetland in the Woolweek 2023. So looking forward !
Lovely video Donna, I have your beautiful book and when I have finished my current knitting projects (3 and all presents for family members) I am definitely going to knit the wearing jumper and treat myself to some of your wool. Sending you best wishes, Kate x
Hello from The Netherlands. Visiting the Shetland Island has always been a dream of mine. I used to bottle feed lambs for a sheep farmer on our tiny farm. They couldn't drink and he would bring them to us and we could concentrate on rearing them. He always said when the lambs came back they were the healthiest in his flock. It was a privilege to do. We gad to sell the farmhouse because of health reasons but it is something we will always look back on with great fondness! I love to use natural wool and am off to look at your website. I hope you will post more videos of your life, work and the Island. 🧶
Great information in your Podcast. I love that you are sheep to yarn to dye to design! I already had some of your patterns, now I can see I’ll need some proper Langsoond yarn!❤❤
can not wait to see you again Donna !!!!
Really interesting, thank you for sharing parts of your island life. I will be looking up the book Texture, I already have Langsoond! Look forward to the next episode 🙂
What a lovely video! So cool to see and hear about the process of making and dyeing your yarn. I knitted the Peerie leaves jumper in Langsoond yarn, and it's beautiful. Greetings from Norway!
Ive just found you and am so happy to have done so! Watching and admiring from New Zealand ❤
Love the wool drying on the fences! Watching from of Vancouver Island, on a small island. I just got a light blue from woad in my garden! So much fun, you live in a beautiful spot! Especially for a natural dyer!excited to find you, Melissa.
Bonjour from Belgium. ❤
Hello from Northamptonshire. I've just found your channel and subscribed immediately as I so love your aesthetic. Really beautiful colours and patterns. Now to find your Web site.........
👋🏼 Hello from Kent, UK. I subscribed last year when I saw your first video and was delighted to see that you’d posted another video. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about your natural dyeing process, it was so interesting and informative. Can’t wait for the next video to see the finished cardigan/jacket. Sending best wishes from the Garden of England 🍒 🍏 Sam x
Lovely to see you and what you've been up to!
Incredible😮this is so interesting
Beautiful yarn.
Hello from Jutland in Denmark.
What a nice video! I’m always happy when I find a site with so much good information about your yarn and dyes etc. I knit all the time and prefer the wooly wools rather than superwash. I will look at your website and see what I might need. I do have the Baabel hat pattern and started it some time ago using alpaca yarn that my friends here make in Idaho.
Hello from Australia. What beautiful colours. We are sheep farmers but not for wool. When you talked about how the sheep come up to you instead of being herded, it reminded me of when we have orphaned lambs that we raise. They are friendly and can cause a bit of trouble when getting the sheep in. They don't know they are sheep anymore.😊 A question. Is there much crocheting in Shetland?
They are cute
Is the Whaling jumper pattern available online as a single pattern please?
Donna..what colour do you get when you dye with rhubarb leaves? Thanks Debra
