Shea - Registered Missouri Foxtrotter For Sale

Shea is a 4-year-old registered Missouri Foxtrotter mare. She stands 15 hands tall and is a beautiful bay. I have worked with her for the past year and a half and have ridden her all over. Our farm joins the national forest, so trail options are endless. We also live in the Ozark Hills, so the terrain and trails we go on are very diverse-fields, massive hills/mountains, rocky footing, creek crossings, rivers, etc. Shea will go wherever I ask her. She is a very athletic and a high endurance horse. She is a lot of fun on the trials and can keep going all day. Other horses wear out, and Shea can still go on continuously, keeping a steady, smooth pace. Shea is also very sure-footed in all terrain. She can go off by herself or with a group. She is good in the front, alongside, or behind other horses on the trails. She also has no problem leaving or splitting up from other horses. I have done all sorts of desensitizing, such as tarp work, bouncing balls, dragging stuff, etc. She backs up and is very good at picking her rider up at a mounting block or any other object you want to use for mounting. Shea is good at picking her feet up, trailering, and is calm for grooming. The biggest training method I use when training horses is pressure and release. Although Shea is a really good horse and can make someone an amazing riding partner, I wouldn’t recommend her as a beginner horse. Because she has so much go and energy, she needs someone with experience riding. We believe Shea would excel in mountain riding or endurance riding. She is one awesome and beautiful girl.

I wish I had known all these ways to desensitize horses from scary things. A LOOONG time ago, I had a horse in high school, before the internet. She spooked @ bags waving in the wind. Becca does SOOO WELL with Shea!! Hats off to her!!

She has so much kindness in her eyes too. Becca did a fantastic job with her. I am definitely saving my pennies and bucks to have my happy horse life back and your channel is 1 of the biggest motivators! It helped to make me realize what has truly been the root of my problems in life. I gave up on my dreams. Anybody out there who has horses or their first pony: there is nothing that can replace that peace and love and the spiritual connection with them!

She reminds me of my beautiful Arabians. Endurance, temperment, courage and show ring gorgeous! If I'm able to get back into horses at age 80, I would definitely consider a foxtrotter. Once had an Arab, Tennessee Walker cross, very comfortable. I would prefer a smaller horse, around 14 to 14.2 hands, as I'm old and little. Love how you handle these horses. My were always lovable pets, including the stallion I hand raised. Bob is also very beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

I’m so glad you mentioned that she’s not for a beginner. I was looking at that website & there was only one horse that said he was good for a beginner. No one else mentions for a beginner or not!

If i could i would want Shea. She is a beautiful bay....why would you want to sell such an incredible horse? You must buy and sell your horses quite easily. When i have a pet, it's usually for life. But Shea is not your pet. I couldn't get rid of her unless i needed the $$$$. Shea is so calm when you are giving her a bath. She's a gorgeous bay. I wish...❤

I would Love to have Shea but I’m not in a place in my Life to have a horse unfortunately! My favorite Horse is a Bay & from watching your videos I Love the Fox Trotter breed. I Love the way they carry themselves & the movement of their head. I use to ride on the Indian Reservation in WA State as a Kid with my friends who had horses. I Love the fact that Shea is strong & has endurance on the trails but also Loves to run, my favorite thing! Believing you’ll find Shea’s new owner & Forever Home! Good on your daughter for being such a great horse trainer! As for her saving up to go to college, if I may, I'd say don't go, it's likely a scam, in the form of a massive debt for a degree that may amount to nothing. As for your daughter, I perceive that she is a good, kindly sweet young woman with a rare heart of gold that may not survive the Marxist professors at a given college. But if she must, make sure to go with and vet it personally, and question everything. I'm a brother with many siblings and a proud uncle with many nieces and nephews, all of them so sweet and kindly and filled with God's Love, and I desire that nothing should ever change that. I went to check out the site. When I was there they had a bid of 4,200.00 I’m the first one to admit I don’t know a lot about horses but the price seemed on the low side for this beauty. I’m hoping there’s a bidders war and she goes for much more but for whatever the price the new owner will be very lucky to have Shea.
It would have been nice to see some good side views of her gaiting, so one could see how she moves........also surprised you ride her in a snaffle bit.
I sure hope y'all thoroughly vet whomever buys her. Its so extremely sad to see so many horses constantly sold all around and at auctions. Breaks my heart. I know sometimes you gotta so what you gotta do. Its juat sad ro me. 💔

She is a stunning horse. Would she be able to show? Even after watching videos on the Foxtrotter gait, I still don’t really understand the mechanics of it and what judges look for.

OK, you're ridden a horse and I've rode a horse and what a wonderful way to train your horse to be 💣 proof with the balls and traps and ect training!!! I'd buy one of homesteading horse way before yours! 🐎 ❤

I’ve seen people say tooken, not a word by the way. No excuse for not knowing English grammar. Immigrants speak better than people born here. Very discouraging.
