I love this lady. She is a friend of mine, and probably the strongest person I know. We were school friends. I had no idea what she was going through at the time, but many years later, we shared our traumatic stories and she is one of the bright lights in my life. I'm proud to have grown up with her and to be friends with her today.

I suppose in theory nudity is natural and therefore isn't necessarily sexual. But in a society where nudity is so sexualised there will probably be nudists that are nudists for some sexual purpose.

I was in a day to day traumatic upbringing. I was blamed on a daily basis for everything that went wrong in our household. After watching this video i realize my childhood could have been way worse .

Nudist camps should always do enhanced background checks on people trying to join because sometimes perverts try to get membership. They get weeded out quickly nowadays though because nudists are more aware and trained about the risks than people who wear clothes, for obvious reasons.

I too am a survivor of child abuse. I’m so sorry you had to go through this too. When people like you share their stories I think it helps all of us that have endured this. May God bless you and I hope you find some peace.

I am so sorry this happened to you, every adult in your childhood failed you. I pray you have full emotional, physical and spiritual healing.

My cousins were abused in Orange County in the 1980’s and 90’s too. Whenever we spent weekends together, these cousins played very inappropriately with me, and taught me all about the “birds and bees” with Barbie dolls. I was younger and didn’t understand at the time that they had this inappropriate knowledge for a reason. As a parent myself, looking back, it’s hard for me to understand how my parents and Aunts and Uncles could’ve been so blind.

We were surrounded by by child molesters. Adults knew this but said nothing, the molesters were family and no one stopped them. As kids we did not tell as we knew we would be blamed and told to just stay away from that person.

Just so many horrific aspects to this whole story, from the mom and sister clearly have been so damaged to continue the abuse - to the mentioning of "Pretty Baby" because we know better now that the movie was just a step into trying to normalize sexualizing children. smh This woman is so incredible and I hope she knows how much she's loved and didn't deserve to go through any of this.

My God! How horrific! I can’t imagine being a child and having to endure this! This lady is a survivor!! I guess u could say my brothers snd I had an idyllic childhood. Soft White Underbelly has a video on this woman- she explains that her father is also a ---phile. Her father was abusing her brothers and other young boys. Both of her parents were doing this. It's horrific.

I'm so sorry that happened 2 u. Thank u 4 sharing your story. I was molested by an older woman when I was just a boy and didn't realize till much later what a terrible thing that is 2 go through. All though I feel my situation wasn't near as bad as your it was still bad enough. I've been through a couple of drug habits and I think I'm really just starting 2 get the help I need as far as therapy. Good luck on the rest of your journey and thanks again 4 sharing

Much compassion and love. Yes someone shared that her brother and herself started sex life,by the time she was 14, she realize was wrong . Today she is 55 years old ,aldo she married she was unable to get pregnant. Inside damage . Sad.

For those who don't undergo a life of trauma, it can be difficult to understand, but this is not a series of different abuses or horrific events as such. This is all part of an ongoing process where hurt only leads to more hurt. Abusers can tell when you are vulnerable and unprotected, and so what happens will continue to happen. Injured birds are perfect prey for cats. Indeed, you may even treat yourself badly until something changes. It's so sad that when it does finally change, when you do see the truth at last, there is usually so much to work through. I am so glad this lady has managed to heal, and is involved in healing work. I really needed that beautiful ending. I'm hoping for a similar one, though my traumas are slightly different.

What a testimony! All to the Glory of God! While I've never been "sectsually" abuse but grew up in a very violent atmosphere! Your testimony needs to be heard by all victims of s*x abuse! My wife was abused by her own father & her mother said she's a liar! She confronted him on speaker phone years ago & forgave him! I was silently listening when he stated "I don't need your forgiveness, I have God's"! She hung up in tears! I never doubted her but that was absolute confirmation! "Father, forgive them for they knoweth not what they do"! He forgave the very ones who physically nailed Him to the Cross! Should we not be as willing to forgive those who've wronged us as well? I taught my ypung boys to fight and scream and kick and bite if anyone ever laid hands on them in a way they didnt like. We need to teach our kids to fight against all this coercison and we need to teach them very young and at school where they can at least know what is happening how to ask for help how to fight against it. This girl was just a paper bag blowing in the wind with zero tools to say no to anything or anyone. Just a passive people pleaser all her life saying yes to everything. Its very sad.

Its crazy world. My lil cousin was 8 when she was fostered out and she went tru 9 houses and was s/a in 4 of the houses. Its ridiculous how the systems fails the same kids that were trying to get out of that same situation. My cousin got pregnant @ 12 and aborted. I had to take her myself. I had her mive in with me for 3 yrs until she just got to crazy to handle she had 2 boyfriends and one was older than me she mived eith him to another state and i never heard anything again never even got a t.y . But ik did what i could

My mother was extremely verbally, emotionally and physically abusive to me as a child and she was all about controlling every aspect of my life and emotions 😢but I was allowed to have an atari though I was not allowed to play it when I wanted to only when it was her idea 😮

As a very young wife and mom with two toddlers in the 1980’s, I lived in El Segundo, CA and then Long Beach. My good friend was from Long Beach originally, then lived in El Segundo as a young mom. She told me that her grandparents lived in El Segundo and gramma had recently died…..”They’re nudists” she told me. She was a day care giver to her grampa who still lived in his home but had dementia. On every wall were pictures of him and his wife standing naked in various places around southern CA. Here we are in Palm desert, here we are in Catalina island, here we are in Palm Springs, here we are at a nudist banquet…you get the picture. These were people in their 70 s. “Is it some sexual club? “ I asked. She told me, no, they just like to be naked around other people who like to be naked….whole families, with kids, NAKED in these photos….playing tennis or volleyball. NO SEX? Yeah right! It was an eye opener to lifestyles in LA for someone not from there.

No one wants to say the quite part out loud, the so called "Sex Revolution" of the 1960's made everything "OK, yeah whatever you want to do man, even if its being a predator to somebody else." Another boomer fail, I don't doubt Lisa's parents were the hippie "free love" types, normally when I watch videos of people that were kids from the 1980's and 1990's, sure enough, most of the time their parents had the "free love" mind set. "Morals are square, man!" Attitude has ruined numerous people psychologically, spiritually and emotionally.

How sad she went through all of this. This is why public schools should be mandatory and sex education at an early age has to be established. Kids do not understand what abusive controlling behavior is unless they are taught .
