What's all this Markle did it. Harry was the one who told the lie to the Queen. He is as vile as his wife. He even threatened to sue papers for saying she was not happy with it. Then to say Her name is Lillibet but will be known as Lily. Then just call her Lily in the first place !!! . It was an intentional jibe. And again we see another of JHarrys lies. I really feel the Queen should have made it clear that she had never agreed to let the the Sussexes name their baby Lillibet . The level of deceit that these two practice and their outright lies are horrible, and the RF and the Queen should have stopped protecting these two from the very beginning

I think they deliberately misled our late Queen by saying they want to name their daughter after her. She, knowing they knew about her wish her nickname was not to be used after the death of her beloved husband assumed they'd be calling their daughter Elizabeth so said that was fine. She only realised they'd misled her when the child's name was publicly announced. Sneaky, disrespectful and typical of their underhand tactics.

So yes the Queen had every right to be angry that they would use her nickname which was only used by her beloved husband, sister and father. How many people who watched Phillips funeral saw the flowers with the one lone card with Lilibet on it and knew what it was. I did because I like our royals. I was raised by royalist parents. MM showed her true self long before the wedding took place. Harry needed to be isolated away from his family for her to succeed well she succeeded in nothing. I personally think Harry has always been like this a spoilt brat who does not measure up to his big brother and has brought all the jealousy to the forefront but nobody cares about him and that is the bitterest pill of all for Harry. He must have thought as he was so loved he could get away with it and we would all take his side. That has not occurred and now the mud throwing is hitting blanks and have left them drowning in their own misery and deceit. KARMA has arrived and I personally am enjoying the hell out of it.

The australia tour really went to their heads. They had 14days of people cheering them and thought THEY were the true heart of the monarchy. Harry (and meghan) thought being diana's son , he would automatically "inherit" her popularity. They were mistaken 😂😂

I think the Queen was blindsided. She thought Harry intended to name the child after the Queen which is Elizabeth but in actual fact they named her the Queens nickname. This is why the Queen was so angry because Harry misled her.

Let's go back to the death of Prince Philip (2 months before the birth of Lilibet)...it was widely reported in the media that no one would refer to the Queen again as Lilibet. This was clearly done on purpose.

Harry was fully aware the Queen did not want anyone using that very, very private name. She also would have understood they were using it to monetize off of it. I do believe she was furious !!🇨🇦

It's a distinct possibility that if Princess Catherine had asked Queen Elizabeth if she could name her daughter Lilabet that the queen may have been honored. She knew Catherine's heart and it would be a compliment. However, the queen realized that H&M named their daughter Lilabet only for leverage and publicity. That's what made her so mad.

There are probably many "Lilibets" in the world and probably some were named in honour of the Queen but the Queen didn't know them personally so it didn't matter. But when you have told your family you don't want to hear your special name anymore after the death of a much loved husband then the family need to respect that request. But we know h&r had no respect for the Queen.

The name Lillibet had great sentimental value for her late Majesty as it was only used by the people who were extremely close to her. Nothing to do with it seeming slushy Vanessa or not being a proper name. I believe it was her Grandfather who gave her the pet name as she couldn't pronounce Elizabeth at a very young age. Apparently after the death of her beloved husband she asked that the name would no longer be used.

The origins of the name was very personal to the Queen, because she couldn’t pronounce her name as a little girl. It is cringeworthy if someone else copies that nickname because it doesn’t mean the same. It’s sad for the child, if there is a child, who will one day read about her parents deception in obtaining that name.

Can we not all acknowledge Meghan's atrocious and quite spoiled taste in names? Archie is a nickname, not a proper name. She couldn't understand how you get Harry out of Henry, and so his name is Harrison-- pretty preppy American. She didn't want him called the Earl of Dumbarton because she didn't think it sounded prestigious enough with "dumb" in it. And she knew *exactly* what she was doing naming that baby Lillibet. It was the queen herself that couldn't say it. Her father was tickled by her trying to say it and began addressing her as lillibet. Margaret followed suit with papa and queen.

The queen was very proper, and she would not think that was a suitable name for a grandchild. That is a precious nickname to her and her husband used it.

I love to see the traditions of the UK and thus the RF. I HAVE always thought that the UK IS SUCH A WORLDLY TREASURE.

One of my old spinster aunts was nick named "Teetee". She never married, worked all her life and never spent a dime on anything, wore clothes from second hand shops or from her sisters. She wanted to prove she could live for nothing and she did by having renters, and she worked at cleaning stores third shift then coming home with bags of "expired" or thrown out medicines and foods. She took jobs at hospitals and she watched the lab techs do tests then when they went home she did her own lab tests! (This is true and as it was the 1960 - 70s it was easy to do all this)! She did sugar tests and little hematocrit tests to see if she was anemic. She never married, never bought anything fresh and never took medicines unless she could get a 5 finger discount while a cleaning lady. She never took vacations unless someone else paid. She got away with a lot tax wise too but always just within the law. She generally paid in cash, never tipped never "owned" anything. She never had a car just took the bus or someone drove her. Anyway, she had a few million $$ in cash stashed away in shoe boxes at her death. 60 years of cash hidden away in that old house! The house was still owned by her father long deceased, with all those boxes full of cash. No one did anything for her during her life as she wasn't the easiest person to be around. I remember her babysitting for us and the awful smell she emitted. (She smelled worse than anything you can ever imagine.) Anyway at a court hearing for claims against her estate the judge was very amused that three of the baby daughters of various hopeful cousins were all named "Teetee". He asked "How many Teetees are in my court today?" I find this amusing as the Sussexes named their daughter "Lilibet" just like my grifter relatives hoping for a sweet payday from their moneybags Auntie Teetee! "Teetee meet Lilibet!!"

Im not anyone of importance, but I do have a nickname that was created on a similar basis. When my brother was expecting a daughter, he mentioned that they were keen on using my middle name for their baby,which was also our grandmothers maiden name. He just wanted to check if I had plans to use it for any future babies and I said we could both use it as mine would have different surnames because I was married and as long as he didn't use my nickname, that's for my kids. No problem 😊. I do know of a woman who tried to 'own' a name for a child that didn't exist to prevent a real baby having a family name Mary..and world war 4 broke out between siblings 😂. But these are common names..not lilibet..a nickname of our longest serving monarch .even if the name was betty or boo..its the fact that the takers were the same people who ruined the final years on earth of the husband and wife team who were indeed our Queen and Duke forever. Just rude. Making a living from the bloodline they destroyed and taking a special name that was intimate of their special bond that helped them through over 70years. If she was angry, it could have been because they used a nickname instead of the correct given name. "Elizabeth Diana" is much preferable to a baby name. Also, if Harry deceived The Queen about it, that might have been distressing.

Hi Karen Princess Catherine & Prince William called their we daughter after the Queen and Princess Diana. Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Their behavior disgraces their daughter, poor little girl would be a global laughing stock.

The queen did not look very happy in the photos of Harry and Megan's wedding.

What a burden for that child to carry her life long. This angers me so very much for both our Queen and this poor child.

Very few knew the Queen had a private nickname untill these two grifters malcontents banded it all over the press. I think when Harry said we would like to name the child after you.
