Upon the death of her husband, the Queen said that nobody was allowed to call her Lilibet ever again. no the queen's endearment lilibet was a special, intimate, private nickname. Only her parents and her husband could call her Lilibet. It was her private, secret name that she associated with home and love. It is not a name for the public. It was not a name for friends. It was only for her most intimate, private moments. She was a born princess and then became queen. She could all the things she wanted in this whole world. "It's all I own is my name" gave me teary eyes. It was not “just” a nickname, it was a deeply personal pet name that only the Queen’s parents, sister and husband had used. When Philip died, the Queen did not wish the name to be used ever again. Her last farewell to her husband was signed with that name. They did report this earlier, but thankfully Robert Hardman has given more details and adds gravitas, clarity and confirmation to the previous claims. Also adding the late Queen’s disapproval and angry response shows that she was not pleased and didn’t give consent.

The Royal family will not be drawn into undignified spats, but in the fullness of time they get their truth out there through trusted sources. Good on them!

It's about respect Harry and the wife obviously have none, it was very shocking when they announced it, it made people feel uncomfortable from the beginning. So I am not surprised it was done out of spite.

It's been revealed Megain Markle had the name lillibet trademarked before the surrogate was even pregnant..... This tells you everything you need to know about the attention seeking actress. The Royal family failed to deal with her appropriately and gave her way too much. About time the titles are stripped from her and those surrogate kids. People who leave the role and leave the country should have everything removed, new rules need introduced !

There are NO surrogate kids...none....only borrowed or fake.......no children in residence....

The worst part is, the little girl might not even be real or really their daughter. Have you ever heard Megaliar or Harry say "our daughter" or even "our son"? It was like doing whatever it took to hurt the Queen and bring her speedy demise. The hatred by the duo was real.

What child? That kid is NOT H &Ms It is Stassi Schroeder's kid who rented her OUT to them! When will people get it? Why do you all keep talking about their child?

Why not a circus? The alleged boy kid is named after a comic book character...or was it because it was the very future young Kings 'security name'. ragland lives in a world of fantasy, fairy tales and comics. A circus and the grifting that comes with those venues and other show ground attractions is right up her alley. If there is any room left in that 'alley' of hers after all the other traffic.

Feel so sorry for the baby girl. One day she'll grow up and learn how her parents betrayed and hurt her great grandma. She might want to change her name.

Can you imagine how this little girl will feel when she grows up and she knows the truth when the origin of her name is revealed to her? Her grandmother did not want her pet name used and this was known by Harry and for him to ignore her wishes and go ahead anyway is a disgrace. That nickname came to an end when her husband died. How do they sleep at night?

Meghan probably sleeps with a note pad and pen by her bedside so she can wake up and write down any new Domain names she dreamt up whilst asleep. Then she has her list for the day to go out and purchase them.

That kid will be picked on by kids for years.

I think it was spite/passive-aggressive after H&M were denied permission to use 'Sussex Royal" for their shady monetising in USA. Was M:'s "You dont own the word Royal" ever verified? I will follow course and refer to Lily as "CABBAGE" from now on. It suits the situation so well . And think HMTQ would be amused.

When this young lady grows up and realises how she got her name she will despise her parents for how low they were. They are both deeply repugnant.

I keep thinking Lillibet may grow up resenting & not liking her name. Can you imagine her feelings when she grows up & becomes aware of all the fuss over her name? So hurtful! And the cruelty of her mother to even put her child under this future "punishment." Strictly a self aggrandizing move by her mother. No real love for her daughter. Diana Lilibet just an ornament for her mother"s social climbing. So crass!

Lily is certainly a lovely name. I believe the children will be really resentful as the age knowing what they missed out on. Look how happy Zara’s kids are. It’s really sad.

That poor little girl will find out in years to come exactly what a hoohaa her parents created by their inconsiderate naming of her. The fact that they created a name domain before, or on the day of her birth, speaks volumes too. That in itself is an act of rebellion against the masses.

The little girl wearing the blue dress is not Lilibet. It’s Hartford Schroeder. Her real mother has admitted it. I always thought it odd that H and M were not in the photo with her as it was the first photo of the child to be shown to the public.

What an utter violation of someone's privacy and the Queen had so few private things. I know they call Charlotte "lotte" it's like her brothers future wife naming their kid "lotte..."

Why don’t we all start calling Lilibet Libby to show respect for the late Queen. So we don’t keep repeating the Queens private family name. Sarah Ferguson got called Fergy in the papers etc so why not Libby to show are respect.

Even though Harry was in the army, I am certain that the retired head of the British Navy was sure of his ground when he said that Harry was a gunner not a pilot. He has access to military records. People like that don't just spout off!🇺🇸

I read that Prince George was once asked his name by a woman and he answered, ' I'm called Archie'; this was when Meghan was said to be expecting in Jan 2019 ( Archie born in May?) while others said that name was a code name for Prince George which the Sussexes ended up using for the son. To use the Queen's pet name was highly suspicious since she had the say about the rules which turned into Megxit which Harry called their freedom flight...why would you associate that ' need to flee' with naming the daughter after the person who caused your ' escape ' from the family you felt trapped in ??!! Spite! His first child wasn't even named after him but a version (Harrison) of his pet name, Harry.

No one names a child some one else’s nick name. KC needs to stand up for HIS MUM
