Basically those $200K transcoders they used to run 15 years ago on stages to do real time tune adjustments are now free for any 15 year old with a modest computer to use.

Highly recommend if you like this arrangement choice, that if you haven't that, you check out Jeremy Jordan's cover of this song! I would recognise that opt up anywhere, i have watched his cover too many times 😅 -only one person so no vocal harmonies (which is just the original melody in original and a step lower) but the melody the girl in the middle is singing was originally done by him like 5 years ago, albeit in a lower key (excluding that beautiful 'e' run she ends on!)

I have no hate towards these people. They are clearly very talented. Here's the thing though, I've been reading some comments that say stuff like, "I can't believe people accuse you of auto-tune!" It is very clearly corrected pitch-wise. Every track is the same volume and 0 cents. I have no hate against auto-tune, almost every music creator uses it. It makes my blood boil when people whole heartedly defend something they know nothing about.

Used to sing 4 and five part harmonies with my siblings, while doing the dishes at night as kids/teenagers. Am 58 now and still miss it to this day. There's are feeling when you harmonize like that- there's nothing like it.

It's not a key change it's just a different chord in the same key and even if it were, that's not an octave. An octave is the same note quality so changing keys to an octave higher doesn't make any sense because nothing would actually change. Sorry, I needed to be that guy.

@@abdullahkuzhan7247o you're saying a tenor and a bass singer are singing the same note. I don't think so genius. A bass note and a tenor note are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. A bass note is on the lower octave. A tenor note is on the higher octave. Learn music before u tell a lifelong singer of 50 yrs what an octave is. In terms of music, an octave is the distance between one note (like C#) and the next note bearing its same name (the next C# that's either higher or lower). In terms of physics, an octave is the distance between one note and another note that's double its frequency.

It's the "key change to an octave part" that made me think you either have no idea about music or you're using wrong words to describe something that is actually correct. If you’re a singer of 50 years, I assume it's the latter. Whatever you’re trying to describe about vocal ranges, those terms you use are a complete miss, they have very little to do with each other. The statement "Key change to a higher octave" in itself is stupid, there is no such thing as a modulating to an octave, nor anything close to it is in the video. You need to articulate better if you want people to take you seriously about music. And you could've saved your time explaining to me what an octave is, I know what an octave is.

Or do they all record single tracks over themselves and tune those individually ? If so, that's also an impressive ammount of effort for really short videos, which i can also appreciate.

@@gabrielcat72 brother, this new generation is just dropping it into AI models and letting a computer do most of it automatically. Basically those $200K transcoders they used to run 15 years ago on stages to do real time tune adjustments are now free for any 15 year old with a modest computer to use.

Highly recommend if you like this arrangement choice, that if you haven't that, you check out Jeremy Jordan's cover of this song! I would recognise that opt up anywhere, i have watched his cover too many times 😅 -only one person so no vocal harmonies (which is just the original melody in original and a step lower) but the melody the girl in the middle is singing was originally done by him like 5 years ago, albeit in a lower key (excluding that beautiful 'e' run she ends on!)

That actually happened to me, the singer in her videos sang so well, her voice was smooth, sweet and airy. Then i went to her little show and im end up upset, it might be exaggerated but i felt like i was being robbed.

I have no hate towards these people. They are clearly very talented. Here's the thing though, I've been reading some comments that say stuff like, "I can't believe people accuse you of auto-tune!" It is very clearly corrected pitch-wise. Every track is the same volume and 0 cents. I have no hate against auto-tune, almost every music creator uses it. It makes my blood boil when people whole heartedly defend something they know nothing about.

I'm sure all of them are actually amazing singers... I don't see the need of editing the voices to make them sound absolutely perfect.
Used to sing 4 and five part harmonies with my siblings, while doing the dishes at night as kids/teenagers. Am 58 now and still miss it to this day. There's are feeling when you harmonize like that- there's nothing like it.

It's not a key change it's just a different chord in the same key and even if it were, that's not an octave. An octave is the same note quality so changing keys to an octave higher doesn't make any sense because nothing would actually change. Sorry, I needed to be that guy.

@@abdullahkuzhan7247o you're saying a tenor and a bass singer are singing the same note. I don't think so genius. A bass note and a tenor note are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. A bass note is on the lower octave. A tenor note is on the higher octave. Learn music before u tell a lifelong singer of 50 yrs what an octave is. In terms of music, an octave is the distance between one note (like C#) and the next note bearing its same name (the next C# that's either higher or lower). In terms of physics, an octave is the distance between one note and another note that's double its frequency.

@@jrw41069 This has nothing to do with bass or tenor, and yes I'm aware that those are two completely different vocal ranges and they all sing different notes, non of that was ever implied in my comment so stop putting words into my mouth. It's the "key change to an octave part" that made me think you either have no idea about music or you're using wrong words to describe something that is actually correct. If you’re a singer of 50 years, I assume it's the latter. Whatever you’re trying to describe about vocal ranges, those terms you use are a complete miss, they have very little to do with each other. The statement "Key change to a higher octave" in itself is stupid, there is no such thing as a modulating to an octave, nor anything close to it is in the video. You need to articulate better if you want people to take you seriously about music. And you could've saved your time explaining to me what an octave is, I know what an octave is.

It's not jealousy. They're using autotune, and heavily so. These kinds of video clips put false expectations of actual performers, who try to match this level of perfection and can't - because it isn't humanly possible. @@lulu_the_great
