I think this was a very close call for Sherbini. At 2-0, 10-7 up I would have thought she would have been ruthless and close it out, but Yuk really made an impressive show here in front of the home crowd to take it all the way to 5 games.

At about 4:00, the ref asked Sherbini not to wipe her hands on the back glass. Perhaps a strange practice, but this is done and accepted at every other tournament they play.... Perhaps a new ref?

Funny, it does seem disgusting come to think of it, especially on back wall glass where you can see everything. Also, someone has to clean it so it’s kinda disrespectful when there’s a towel a few strides away at the front.
