A lot of women are looking for a good man. Here she had "2" , who both loved her. And now she has none. My heart ached more for the husbands. This was a good movie.

I would call all 3 of them toxic... Becky cheating on her husband and hiding the marriage from Mike, Mike being ultra clingy, forcing her to get married and being incredibly superficial (calling her beautiful all the time yada-yada and not having meaningful conversations), Jeff being self-absorbed and way too career-oriented to the point of neglecting his wife's needs... My guess is that Mike and Becky never really moved on from each other and she was in a vulnerable place emotionally, especially after her dad's passing. Jeff not being there for her emotionally and Desiree cheating on her spouse probably influenced her to do crazy things, such as having an affair and getting married to her past lover. There was a lack of maturity and accountability from all three sides in my opinion. I appreciate that Jeff was willing to work on their relationship after everything that happened. I liked him better than Mike. Big thumbs up for Angie, the voice of reason. 👍🏻 Enjoyable movie all things considered.

If you are committed and you know you are in love with anothwr or whatever, isn't it that the first thing you do is get away or end the commitment? @@tngirl341 You have no doubt heard the old saying: "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." It is only because of the ranting and raving of the sodomites over many years, that our now ungodly nation has accepted sexual perversion as normal. I will guarantee you that if enough people started ranting and raving to have plural marriages, this would also be accepted and become legal. Gods plan was for it to be one man and one woman, but He did work with and even bless people in the bible who had multiple wives. But homosexuality has NEVER been condoned, only condemned in Gods word. So yes, to me it is ironic that what this woman did was worthy of jail, yet sodomites are accepted in this culture. It happens all the time all over the world, and people never learn, even it often claims innocent victims. I think I avoided these situations as a young girl, because my passion was elsewhere. I loved horses and the time with them, and I was a bit of a lonely rider, so I can understand the movie, but I never ever feel that I missed something along the way, by not being involved in any kind of affairs. I was raised to follow the line, education, work and later familylife, I did not follow the book, but I did avoid to get lost in mens jungle, even I had what it took to melt them. Everytime an innocent animal must suffer under neclect, abuse or what ever it might be, God is watching, I woke up at night many many ears ago, and my room was so beautiful and quiet, and it was like another dimension, it was a scenario in seconds, but a voice said out in the room........'Do never feel alone or forgotten, because I will follow you the hole way, and when your last day arrive, I will take your hand, and lead you home for good.......tell the world about me......

I grew up watching Connie Sellecca in TV movies & commercials. She was sort of an 'idol' of mine when I was a teenager. She is very beautiful but she also has an 'inner light' that few people possess. I didn't like the show HOTEL back then, but I did like GREATEST AMERICAN HERO!

@@taracollins5597 How could you not like "Hotel" with all of the guest stars and different plots each week? The variety of stars performing was the theme of every show. This is what made this TV series great. I like Bette Davis for her role. I wish her health had held out. Anne Baxter was outstanding as Victoria Cabot. But it was James and Connie that was the element which kept the series going full speed ahead! I watched every episode. Just hearing the music from the intro still gives me goose bumps!

She was married to two men only one month. Was pushed into signing the paper/marriage certificate by the spontaneous second man, who wanted all or nothing very fast, so under the pressure of the man she loved, - the girl caved in. Therefore, unless we've been in same situation - we shouldn't throw the stones at her. Many men had secretly been married to two women for many years, having 2 sets of children on top of it.

She turned back into a young girl who had just fallen in love all over again with her first love, and all of the feelings came rushing back, and she played into them for and relived her dream romance he was her missing link everything she’d desired she founded within her first love and shared and relived memories she didn’t get to. But he was so forceful and so in your face ready to take on the world and get married she did try to tell him at certain times but was unable to do so…… He lived life at the moment and she didn’t and her first original husband was to busy and caught up in his career and being the best doctor he didn’t even get to know his wife or care to much about her feelings as he should’ve but he was a good husband and for the most part she was a good wife she just got mixed up and caught up within the feelings she wished her first husband had for her and she eventually went with it although he gave her half of everything so she didn’t do to bad and the ended for she and her first husband was sweet.

Back in 1994 they could get away with "but i need to learn who I am before I can learn to love anyone" from someone who'd just lost two great men and thinks she'll find another in San Francisco. Those were simpler times then. Email wasn't even being used yet. Nobody would call a screen writer's bluff about the heroine not wanting a penny of alimony from a man she didn't love but who loved her and about the total nonsense that a top surgeon going on emergency calls is likely to lose the love of his life because he's not paying enough attention to her. This movie was a study in narcissism

And when it comes to love, you have to choose so no one gets hurt. When you have too many eggs in one basket, someone always gets hurt. Don't do it. Bad karma. Great movie, very good performances. s it me, or were actors back then much better? They were all really amazing. Good story, and good message at the end.
