It's funny, my subtitles I've noticed, are slightly different from some reactors I've watched. I noticed in one scene she says she was 17 for me and 18 for others. Well this is another one. For me it said ice and weed, which is what we call meth in Aus.i had no idea Netflix went to the trouble of changing subtitles for the audience and I'm impressed.

@@jocelynhunter2359 Ye glass and ice both urban dictionary to meth for me, but in different parts of the world Ice means cocaine so I'm told. Maybe it is a spanish or a diff lang to english translate over a korean to english direct translate due to country. Slang changes or summat.

@14:04 To answer your question Zuff, the multiple blue Siesta bags in the closet symbolize the amount of times YEON-JIN has cheated on her husband behind his back. Every time she visits the shop for a "dress fitting" she and Jeon Jae-joon are actually doing the nasty on the couch. Remember episode 2? How subtle of them to represent it that way.

It's so crazy how cinematic and psychological this drama is! Not only are the Siesta shopping bags symbolic of the amount of times she cheated on Do-Yeong, but how LONG she's been doing/getting away w/ it.

@@mirabutler9303yea she was dong-eun’s bestfriend. She looked away and avoided dong-eun when she was bullied. Also why dong-eun didnt acknowledge her when gyeong-ran was bullied after dong-en left school.

13:56 this scene where he is walking around yeonjin’s closet did not make sense to me, but apparently it shows how much she has gone to jaejun’s store which also implies how much she has cheated on the husband with jaejun. This is where he actually notices (When before he wasn’t thinking abt it)

The layers this show has.. Ive never felt less strategic in my life lol

Fun fact: yeonjin and the doctor guy (forgot his name 😭) are dating IRL. Feels illegal but they are doing well!

Every time they bang, Jae Joon gives Yeon Jin something from Siesta.

That was such an emotional scene when Dong Eun talking about Soo Hee.

I'm super late to the party but I'm so glad you guys reacted to this series! If you're taking recommendations for kdramas, i would recommend Little Women as it has a similar vibe to The Glory :) but no stress if not, I enjoy literally everything you guys upload! Yall are killing it with the ATLA and TVD reactions btw!! :)

Sick to think this is based off real bullying stories from South Korea. The actual stories are even worse with girls recording torturing others, repeatedly burning them and hitting them with glass bottles. South Korea's censorship is way harder than Western countries so how do these kids, bullies were 9-14 years old, think of this twisted actions?! Bullying is terrible everywhere but the kind in South Korea just seems extra sick.

@@ona7116 gurl I'm korean and I live in korea.. Yes bullying exists in Korea, but honestly it's literally the same in any country. I've lived in different asian countries + the U.S. And honestly being poor isn't really what gets you bullied. My cousin is upper middle class (only child so more money for her ig) but she was still bullied. Ya'll foreigners just read one tweet, one reddit post, watch a couple youtube videos and believe that EVERYTHING is 100% true. Somehow you're already experts on a country you know nothing about, never lived in, never experienced.
