I think the blue bags symbolized everytime she went over to sleep with the other guy she would bring something back to look like she shopped. So that scene was the husband realising how many times she cheated.😮

I think something really important to note is that Yeonjin never took her shoes off when she went into Dongeun's appartment. In South-Korea wearing your shoes in the house is a BIG no no and it's considered super disrespectful. I think the ''gesture of kindness left by somebody at my door'' means that Yeonjin's husband did take his shoes off as a sign of respect.

Its not normal to wear your shoes indoors in most of Europe too. I think the US is honestly the outlier here..

the husband is not the only good guy. He is described "nice bastard" in the drama. Like how he talked about why he married Yeonjin based on clothes, social status, appearance not one word of love, and how he treated his driver although they are brief moments but showing who he is. Korean dramas like this genre always have detailed layouts. So just pay attention to details to understand deeper meaning. A tip is to watch more k-dramas 😁

21:23 I noticed the same thing when I watched, but I also theorized that 4 represents myeong-o. He is 4th in the pecking order of the 5 bullies (in my opinion at least), and she is blocking the camera's view of the #4 symbolizing that he's been eliminated.

25:09 - I think it might actually be more common approach with K-dramas. In Dr Romantic (medical drama) there's many similar explanations on the screen during the episode. Super helpful.

I wish they would use these explanations more with honorifics too, especially since Netflix opens up these dramas to a more international audience.

@@the_nikster1 exactly! I remember one time Aaron said that he wrote all the names of the characters but not once he heard them mentioned. It is because the characters would use honorific like Sunbae. I cant remember which episode it was.

I'll have to go back and find it but I wrote a loooong comment on that episode explaining honorifics but I can't remember which one it is right now haha it would be sooo helpful for new international k-drama watchers if Netflix would start making it a common practice to explain honorifics, at least at the beginning of dramas.

Lim Ji-Yeon, who plays Park Yeon-Jin, has a nice role in the Korean movie "Luck Key" which is a pretty good suspense/action/comedy movie. It's worth a reaction, in my opinion. You could also react to "Space Sweepers", "Extreme Job", "Confidential Assignment", Confidential Assignment 2: International" and "Hitman: Agent Jun" for more Korean content. On an totally different note: I just love the way Koreans are so stylish. They all seem to dress well.

Which is why one of them says "You were the one who told me to come that day" And the guy also asking her to remind him about them "hanging out". It's to point out the others weren't actually there and she called them after to be her alibi.
