It's quite an achievement considering her age, she's much younger than Deepika .. Alia comes across as an honest and unpretentious person

Alia's intelligence comes from the experiences around her... she might not have had the so called typical struggle but her family background and the pain of loved 1s has shaped her and that comes across. I am not a lover of nepotism, but she is 1 "star" kid that I am sooo glad has shown her talent and continues to. Look forward to seeing what she has coming next

I know she doesnt have any obligation to do it, but I wish people in positions of power like alia who have still had it miles easier than so many other "outsiders" to start out would use her platform of influence to share and encourage those who r less privileged...like sharing content she liked that don't have any stars etc like the south film industries where smaller films are just as appreciated as bigger films...I know appreciation of contemporaries is not really a culture in Bollywood but I wish someone like alia would do that...would make her and most of bollywood a lot more likable too...

She has time and again in various interviews encouraged budding scriptwriters, cinematographers and directors to send her new stories so that she can bankroll them.

Someone should make a movie on the Bhatts, would be a treat to watch😊

Nothing alien about her. She has the right background, genetic and social to do well in the film industry. She is a reasonably competent actor. We as a country tend to over idolize the film ‘stars’ too much.

But its also hard to not let privilege get to one's head. The right background, genetic and social can really keep you in a bubble. But she found her way to the ground and her work and personality is an inspiration for many. She kind of rose from the ashes after that karan johar interview. One can not really imagine what it must be to experience such hate and ridicule on social media. yet to regain the balance and keep a straight head is definitely a sign of strength. If you look at the present generation, she is one of the many who inspire, not just with her hard work and dedication, but also with her talent. now, the question of "how" much strength is pretty relative and yes, there have been many different people who have struggled much more and shown much higher levels of courage, but, nevertheless, her passion and strength inspires me.

@@nikytadhiman259 I don’t watch Bollywood movies anymore as most of them are made with an eye on the box office, lot of cringe unrealistic stuff and overall underwhelming. The music has also deteriorated with hardly any good lyrics. I generally find nothing inspiring in any of these ‘stars’ except for the humanitarian work which some of them support. They get too much space and attention in the media. If you like their movies, just watch and judge them for their work. Their interviews, promotions, children and personal lives should be irrelevant. We should highlight real common people who have struggled and achieved in life.

Its good that Kasmiri Files showed us the brutality faced by Kashmiri Pandits and being a Hindu myself I don't support genocide. But what about the Godhra riots in Gujarat where Muslims were mercilessly attacked and butchered- was it also not a genocide?. Its not about whether or not we are Muslim or Hindu or a Christian or a Parsi or a Buddhist or a Jain. Its all about we being humans first. Why only talk about the genocide that occured in Kasmir. Let's also talk about the ostracization other religions are facing as well. Genocide in any form against any section of the society is and must be intolerable. PS- If you have been seriously affected by Kashmiri Files let's talk about Godhra riots as well. Even though both of these genocides were on the ground of religion but in the end we lost a lot of our fellow brothers and sisters. Our identity on the lines of religion, caste and creed, gender should be secondary even though they are kind of what the world thinks defines us. In the end we are human beings first.

Btw, Alia also did Raazi. She was a nepo kid and Mahesh Bhatt’s kid then also. Kashmir Files talks about a political situation and Raazi also is somewhat a political movie. Nobody talked about Alia and Mahesh Bhatt when Raazi was being promoted. What a hypocrite. When it suits you the actors and movies are good and when it does not suit you, the same actors and movies become bad.
