Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali releases on the big screen on 25 February. This will be the actor's first big screen release after Kalank in 2019. Speaking to The Quint, Alia talks about how she reacted when she was signed on for Bhansali's film, her experience of working with the veteran filmmaker, being excited about the film's premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and nervous about the release in India and a lot more. Gangubai Kathiawadi is inspired from the life of Gangubai Harjivandas, whose life was documented by journalist and writer Hussain Zaidi in the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

This will be one of best movie of her, she seems to have done some amazing acting. SLB brings out the best in you, and this will prove it. Alia is an amazing actor and can do every roles she given with...definetely to watch this.

Yeah Alia's original performance even in flop movies cannot match with 1% of Kangana's hubristic filmography whether it's fake performance and credit from Manikarnika or Revolver Rani's reckless over acting 🙈🙉🙃

Why giving so much force in speaking man.... Looks like someone recently learned english is speaking ... And sanjay leena waah 9 yrs me he saw actor just by looking he should be a fortune teller... Actors are made by acting ...this is their genre not by having cute childlike face.. Mtlb kch v

Don't judge the way someone speaks.. Listen to what she has spoke and meant...At least she is not blabbering and was adding substantial value to the conversation. & SLB is not fortune teller but a create maker who created magic on screen. Ofc he has something that everyone doesn’t that's why he always gives us the best visions that anyone else can't.
