I get what Sissi is saying about Shabu. I want my meat seasoned at least before cooking it, or even after. I don’t want just sauce. Meat has to have seasoning, especially boiled hot pot meat that doesn’t have any flavoring.

Oh no poor Sissi!! Dang it that crab looked so good! Although I‘ve had a few situations where my friends & I ate completely the same thing but I was the only one who got sick or another time my friend was the only one & the rest of us was completely fine. So I guess sometimes it really depends on your individual state. But the crab would be the most obvious cause still. Or maybe you really didn‘t give your stomach enough time as Sas said haha.

If you get food poisoning, try not to eat solid foods. You can have some rice gruel with a tad bit of salt and drink lots of warm/hot water with ginger. I'm glad you recovered and aren't suffering serious side effects.

Probably a 24 hour stomach virus I highly doubt it was food poisoning if it occurred 2 days after you ate that meal. Glad you are feeling better though ❤

When I got food poisoned I got sick then and there. Soon as food hit my stomach. Once I threw it all up I was fine. I say you caught a stomach virus.

Food poisoning is rarely the fault of the consumer…Sas doesn’t sound sympathetic at all…I hope you found what it was that made you sick and you let them know…they need to know so it won’t happen again to someone else that may not recover as well, or might cause death. 😢
