These are called PRODUCTS. You, the social media user, is THE primary product OF social media. Therefore, the more you post, the more you ADVERTISE yourself. Now, when you're single, you can advertise yourself all you want. But you HAVE to understand that the WAY you advertise yourself, WILL result in you getting the attention of a PARTICULAR customer. When you're in a relationship, and you STILL advertise yourself in the same way you did when you were SINGLE, then the customer that "purchased" you (the product), WILL NOT WANT YOU TO ADVERTISE YOURSELF. Because if you do, then you are, for lack of a better term, for the streets. It's that simple.
