Why everyone moaning about the good guy not getting the girl? You think being good entitles you to get a girl? Being a good person is the basic step to become a decent person that should be the default mode. Sam didn't even want any of the woman cause unlike y'all, he isn't a creep. Just because Dannis had a crush on Gray, doesn't mean she has to return his feelings. Fritz isn't a good guy but I doubt that relationship would last. Gray is grieving and he's just a rebound guy. Calm down y'all.

I think fritz is the right guy for gray aside from their attraction for each other ,Fritz is a loyal guy ,it shows how the late fiance is so open to him and he keep his secret all this time ..

I think you all want to say that while fritz acted like an asshole in the starting, his character actually developed in the move while Dannis acted like a simp/hopeless lover in the whole movie with zero to none character development.

Dennis is a nice guy and always finishes last. The friend dude is just shitty though and I don't blame her she's just chasing for a bad boy for a rebound .

I absolutely LOVE this movie. It isn't just a romcom, but a really interesting view of the grief, community, and loss of a friend. We never see Grady, just like the characters will never see him again. The only time is that foggy sillohette of him fly fishing and walking into the fog at the end while she's describing his memory and finally _releasing_ him. It's also a very sweet love story and has one of the BEST kisses I've ever seen in a movie.

Why is Sam the only non jerk

Fritz literally brought nothing to the movie other than being the widow's love interest the moment her fiancé died. Not a damn good character in this movie outside of Sam

I disagree. Fritz was the one friend she didn't really know, so we only know what she knows and what she sees. He was Grady's best friend, the one that kept all his secrets, hid all his mess and never judged him. They both truly loved Grady and they found love through their grief.

They should've done better with the story. The elements were good but I can't understand why the film team is so afraid of showing passage of time. Grady was a cheater, the evidence of it came around. l honestly would have shown more time passing and have the widowed fiance get closure while moving on.

I love the movie! And Love sometimes can be found to people you lease expected.

The entire plot is disgusting, not even a week to move from a dead fiance and the guy is the worst friend

She really wasn't cool with it for a long time, and the movie doesn't hand-wave it away, but it's about the catharsis and healing process of grief and loss of someone so close to you that you actually didn't know enough about, but still loved in a very complicated way.

I'll be damned if I'd give that woman and her kid a damn thing and I'd sue gray if she tried to sell that ring. No likable characters

She couldn't afford rent with the million dollars she just got?
