Yeah I feel like they haven't done that since Ikoria. As much as I hate playing against Kinnan, I love when he jumps out of the card frame.

To be fair I don't think the game needs to be 40gb bigger just for some flair you'll stop seeing after a few months

Can I like this video 100 times? I’m such a Breya artifacts fan. It was my first commander precon that I’ve upgraded continuously for years, and has become my favorite deck.

Breya deck can be so diverse yet very hard to make an actual powerful deck to keep up with all the nonsense in brawl. Big props to LVD!

I've got a sac outlet deck brewing around in my head. Keep a lot of the artifact synergy, but adding in more payoffs for all the death. Crime novelist, vein ripper, etc.

Breya is my favorite commander of all time. I have her in paper with a ton of artifact synergy and thopter generators. Also the old Sharuum/Sculpting Steel combo.

They were both considerations! Mechanaut does most of what Lord Protector would do for us while being cheaper and an artifact. Tempered Steel does most of what Prince of Kroog would do for us, while being cheaper and more difficult to interact with. Since we had both effects covered they didn't feel necessary and it was difficult enough making so many cuts! Maybe with more tutor effects we could reliably meld Urza, but at that point just play Urza as your commander.

Without tutors it's difficult to assemble. I also generally avoid infinite combos in Brawl or Commander.

Doesn't really fit our gameplan, not trying to set up any combos with it.

Deck went all synergy and forgot about interaction like Swords to Plowshares and such.

You usually say "this is the only alchemy card in the deck" whenever you mention one. Is it just a really bad set overall, or is there some other reason for that?

I prefer sticking to paper cards so newer players don't get confused looking for digital cards that don't exist irl. There's also a few alchemy mechanics that push the game mechanics a little too far and I personally don't enjoy playing with.

I played her for the first time two months ago in commander and also crafted her for Brawl when she came out. For me, I like how versatile she is on the deckbuilding as well as on board. You can build her as artifact aristocrats, artifact creature beatdown, splash in blink effects, or board-wide buffs, or token synergies, etc. When she's on the board, her activated ability can be used in a lot of ways, either removing or weakening creatures, getting life in a pitch, finishing off planeswalkers, or burning. The versatility just feels really good it have. I can see how it's not for everyone, though.
