Game 1 is a great example of how underrated "ETB + 1 life" effects are for slower decks After monogreen's attack on turn 4, LVD would have been at 2 life but he's at a healthy 10 (In fact, this would have actually been fatal if he were starting at 20 life). By the time OP concedes, innkeeper and soulwarden has gained him 20 life (for a total of 22) with an overwhelming board presence😎

- "You Go" 1 minute later... "Disconnects" and gets demolished by tokens with battlecry

I was hoping for this vid. I've been playing Ghired in standard brawl for a bit, it's a really fun commander. But building a historic brawl deck can be pretty overwhelming with the amount of choices in cards that have good synergy!

Fable Kiki-Jiki + Ghired is awesome. My one opportunity using it was for Resplendent Angel also against Grixis Control but with Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh.

I dont make too many decks as my collection isn’t that full, I randomly just chose this card to start building a deck around about a half hour ago. I decided to get some ideas and see you literally just posed this today. What are the chances.

So weird how some commanders are like Rusko and so easily abusable and then you get this one who needs a million hoops.

If you wanna see this commander get really silly look into copying roles with him. Giving Royal, Monsterous, Hero rolls is hilarious.

@@Boromol it’s pretty good when you have enchantment etb/ltb effects. Edit: Plus it’s pretty fun to play a cursed courtier and then put a cursed role on your opponent’s creatures.

I dont think theres any way to break it, but three blind mice seems pretty nice to be able to enable Ghired on existing tokens on the board.

DjiN sure did "disconnect" after being such a good "your go" player. 🙄😂 I'm pretty sure Luca saying "Looks like our opponent might have disconnected" is just him politely saying "Yeah the opponent rage scooped" and I appreciate him for that lmao

23:11 How did he find this line of play so quickly, with no error in mana-counting? Even if the voice is dubbed in video editing, he still used his mouse to highlight the cards in sequence. And correctly counted the mana! Was that a fluke? Did he already started looking for a way out when the opponent showed signs of holding a boardwipe in hand couple turns ago?

No trickery, it's a pretty straightforward turn. We wanted to redeploy our mana producers so the only choice was Tracker vs Fable.

Ain't Seance that one meme card that one guy bought like as many or all the copies of since it was worthless and then destroyed the majority of so they shot up in price.

It's a great finisher, but doesn't really synergize with Ghired's ability. Jetmir decks are built a little different since you mostly care about creature tokens and the quantity is more important than their quality. For instance Raise the Alarm is perfect for Jetmir, but not great with Ghired. I've done a Jetmir brawl deck a while back.
