I absolutely love seeing their reactions on Christmas morning. I know all these kids will look back and remember how special you two made it for them. Priceless memories.

The energy was so different in this year's Christmas special, but not in a bad way at ALL. I think the kids have just matured a LOT this year, and to a certain extent, so have Shay and Collette. Shay, your family has been through many ups and downs this year, but thank you for this wonderful glimpse into your life. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2019.

I remember waiting months for these videos but as time passes by I totally forgot about this years video. I guess I’m just growing up. First video/vlog I’ve ever watched was the day they made the Harlem Shake. Thanks for everything Shay. You gave me purpose.

Well I been watching since year 2 or 3. Shay and his wife have struggled with money and since have showed their kids its great to be grateful with anything they receive. Now that they are wealthy since Maker studios happened and been sold for millions they still stick with the same old teaching which is amazing.

Kati Rose it turned out that shay was cheating on his wife with a cam girl and some leaked dms got out of him talking about some weird kinks or whatever then he admitted to being a alcoholic so I think that sorta tore the family apart

Okay, first off they were off and number 2 shay dealt with drinking problems that almost took down his life. And to people out there who say he is a slut or a bitch, Shay Carl Butler is a family man and he never would have done what he did unless he was under the influence of something, which he was and that was alcohol. And that slutty bitch Nina took advantage of Shay probably in ways no one could imagine and tested his humanity and left him vulnerable just like anyone of else would be. He deserves a second chance. Because he done nothing wrong. Same with Jake and Logan, and all the other good KZreadrs who FUCKED UP. Thank you for your time. This was my speech on vulnerability.

All I’m saying is that Shay was vulnerable and that people that gone through what he has should be forgiven. It’s not just Shay that made this mistake and is almost not forgiven. Y'all keep begging for christmas specials and whatnots, but when they finally upload it than, y'all keep complaining about not feeling the vibe and shit. Isn't it obivious that they arn't going to stay the same ? The kids are clearly growin up and, what we used to see a few years back is in the past. And yes, the incident was painful and, they clearly told us that they've learnt their lessons and are trying to move on, but people like y'all make it difficult for them. You guys are so funny. I love the Christmas specials so much!

When I was a teenager, I'd go out with my friends, get drunk, come home and watch Shaytards until I passed out. Greatest family ever, like the family I never had. Everyone has grown up so much!

I haven't watched the Shaytards in MONTHS just because of not really watching KZread but I had to come back for the Christmas special. Daxton is like an actual human child now. He's having full conversations and it's so crazy, I feel like last time I watched he was still so little and barely talking!
