My dear brother, this is Islam, rules are not derived by philosophical or punch dialogue. We all have to be matured enough to understand ruling regarding anything is derived from Qur'an and Sunnah as understood by the Salaf-as-Salih, primarily the Jama'ah of the Prophetﷺ and the Sahaba. Here he didn't even quote any understanding from the Salaf. Go and get rulings regarding these issue from Scholars who quote the kitab of Allah and the sunnah of the Rasoolﷺ. And even logically as he derived the ruling using logic, it is so weak claim. According to him, if there is a school which teaches unislamic stuff and a school which teach Islamic stuffs in UK, we should be going to place where unIslamic stuff is taught, or else it would be a defeated mentality. I don't know how his followers can digest these. And he is belittling a great act of worship (hijara), sacrifice for the sake of Allah with all these cliche dialogue. Ultimately those who don't want to make big changes and live defeated under the kuffar country as outsiders and wants the deen as diluted as possible, they don't care about what Allah and His Rasoolﷺ taught. I'm not claiming the commenter or the person in video is that, which can be or not, but definitely the statements made are clearly indicating it and we all have to fear Allah.

Defeated mentality for sure I reverted 14 years ago born and raised in the uk, its exactly how you want things to be even from a non Muslim background my mindset was always Build a society together whatever your belief system is. I have a sister in Saudi with children now in teens the situation there is far worst as Arabs are not only leaving islam but they are wanting to be more western than westerners so they can be respected by the west. Also home schooling in the UK is still legal and a option its not hard at all. I must stress most importantly its the parents responsibility to teach and guide children spend time show love actually put in a effort to explain things in a loving manner rather than dumping then into nursery at 6 months then wondering what went wrong years down the line. With all due respect to the Sheikh, It's a gross generalization and a huge misunderstanding of the concept of hijrah to say that it's for 'defeated metalities'... We're talking about one of the greatest acts of worship that exist on top of being a sunnah. Having problems when making hijrah is not the exception it's the norm and has always been. Staying no matter what in a land of kufr is statistically a guarantee of Islam being lost after a few generations. Whether we're talking marriage, Iman, hijrah, you will be tested. It's a promise of Allah. And as bad as the 'westernization process' in the arab world gets, It still has a very long way to go before turning into the actual thing. Not even remotely comparable. Also the Arab world is not the entire world. I lived in 4 of the 6 continents, Allah made this planet vast enough. The truth and the Irony is that most of the people refusing to do hijra when it becomes a necessity (those with the means to do so) get very uncomfortable because of all the self reflection the mention of it brings... In the end Allah is the one who will judge people's true intentions. Hijra Or Not. So please let's help our case by being extremely honest with ourselves. This dunyua is way too short. May Allah save us All Amin!

@Idi B I agree with living in non Muslim lands may have been applicable in the past but not sure if its like that now in muslim countries well documented that people are turning to atheism. Hadith you'll have to find it of salman Al farsi "verily it's not the land that's determines belief but its the heart" very broken translation .. which seems very logical. But also People forget a crucial thing Allah says its only few that believe, because belief is a deep rooted seed when you really have been tested in life that's separates the muslim from hypocrite.

What’s the point of living in a land where the core of your existence as a dignified human being is under attack vigorously such as marriage, family life, education, gender etc. It is like trying to put the fire out by jumping into the fire, fire can only be put off by stepping away into safety. In reality there is no justification to be here other than for Dawah !

Sheikh didn't seem to delve into the islamic fatawa and rulings when he was speaking about hijrah, more logic and future plans. How did the messenger deal with issues we are facing now in the lands of the non Muslims?

May Allah bless the Shaykh. I wish more time could be spent on the Hijra topic. I feel very uneasy because they’re so many ahadith that talk about living amongst non Muslims, Surah Nisa Verse 94, the brain drain from our countries and the long term effects of that, our focus on establishing ourselves here where they’ll never be pleased with us as Allah said in Surah baqarah. With respect, to sort of dismiss it as people having a defeatist mentality doesn’t seem fair. Just so much but sadly there wasn’t enough time and it was rushed. May Allah help and guide us.

1:21:57 so we should become home owners when house prices are at an all time high? even with these islamic banks the prices are out of reach for most people, the average age of a homeowner in the UK right now is 34. 1:23:00 why should we try to benefit non muslims when they don't benefit us? the idea of building this muslim empire sounds like a fantasy to be honest. Majority of muslims in their 20s are unmarried and men marrying back home isn't a new phenomenon but now we're hearing about men making hijrah to get married with no plans to return to the UK because they know they have nothing to gain here.

Most people usually don't do Hijrah to poorer countries. Protecting one's family comes before doing dawah, sacrificing your family to apostasy. His opinion is a minority opinion. May Allah support Muslims in the non-Muslim countries.

Islam was built on simplicity and sacrifice. We have to sacrifice for a more simple life and Allah SWT will provide us with far more than we could ever imagine. We need to get out of the mindset that money has a part to play in the process of being enriched. That comes from having strong Deen and relationship to Allah SWT, establishing a family on Deen and providing for the Ummah. Everything materialistic is evanescent and secondary at best, that includes our luxurious way of living in the West which we are afraid to sacrifice in order to safeguard our Deenz

@@redman6790don’t fall into false piety and false zuhd. The prophet saws didn’t say to go worship away from society your whole life. You have responsibilities if you have kids, wife, family, etc. To put them in a bad situation intentionally, to hurt their chance of growing up in their own home, it does not do good for your Deen or their Deen. There is a lot of problems that come from poverty and oppression also. You can’t just say Hijra is an answer… if you go to Muslim countries and see the oppression people over there accept in various places (I’m talking about Pakistan and Saudia), then you would realize it’s not always the case that moving there is better for Deen.

Assalamo alaikum wa rahmatAllahi wa barakatu. The storm that is coming will render many of future generations confused about their gender. The education system is hell bent on forcing this filth down the throats of everyone. If someone thinks they will be able to stop this by re education Islamic values will find tremendous problems. Young children (5 year olds) going back to school telling their teachers, they don't believe in calling Ahmed, Sumaiya and don't accept boys marrying boys, because their parents have told them Muslims don't believe in that, will see Prevent type inquisitions taking place. The recent Prevent review now points to attacking the "extremist ideas" which lead to "terrorism". Many learned commentators have concluded this to mean an attack on the core beliefs of Islam. Please understand the gravity of this indoctrination. The Kuffar go for the long haul. There was a programme on Al Jazeera which followed the stories of Muslims from Lebanon, Palestine who had emigrated to South America. The sister in question mentioned, how out of 25 cousins, 15 had left Islam and had become Christian. This is quite shocking. This probably would not have happened had they stayed in the Muslim countries. Its true we don't have an Islamic State, but we have to agree, these states are not mandating the indoctrination of filth in young children.

Hijrah is one of the most steepest self-development journeys and it is in human nature to be frightened by major changes, however when you are doing it for the sake of Allah, your heart is at ease knowing that its purpose and plan will lead you closer to Allah SWT and a step closer to Jannah inshaaAllah. This world is temporary, we need to be pragmatic in deciding how to safeguard our Deen over everything else. Allah SWT will never overburden someone, Hijrah should be done if plausible and at the very least it should be an intention!

It's not about not caring about others. Save yourself and your family. How do we own our houses if we can't afford to buy? Maybe we will struggle for a short time. It's not a maybe. This land doesn't belong to Muslims. Basically this land doesn't belong to refugees or asylum seekers. There is a lack of infrastructure here. Islamic schools are poor. Scapegoat? Why can't Muslim countries do much about it?

I want to say, I admire the sheikh as he has spoken about the sharia and has been unapologetic for many years regarding sensitive matters so may Allah reward him ameen. However 2 points need to be addressed and I hope IFG reads this and ask the questions to the sheikh. Western muslim women use the power of the non Muslim state to enforce haram custody situations regarding the children and their fathers. This is NOT happening in muslim majority countries as the father has more rights. This is a HUGE problem in the west and Muslim countries are superior in this regard. Point 2 is that why cannot men go abroad to poorer Muslim countries to get a spouse who will actually be obedient towards them? Why get married to western women who are not able to make their man happy? An 18 year old girl from a poor country will be grateful for a man with a basic salary compared to western muslim women's delusion

Do istakhara no need to listen to ppl who are serving deen, shyukh are like ppl who drive the bus, others are pedestrians, pedestrians get driven over. I am disappointed the Shaikh did not really answer the question of Hijra from West. His answer is very fluffy. He did not answer how to deal with this LGBTQ influence on Muslims kids in school. @@mogamadRSA Muhammad claimed his allah made him lust after his adopted Son wife, He clearly didnt get this instruction from the God of the Bible, it's a very big abomination in the Bible, and Jesus even taught us even lusting after a woman at heart is same like doing fornication and adultery Surah 33:37-38: “And when you said to him to whom Allah had shown favor and to whom you had shown a favor: Keep your wife to yourself and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and you concealed in your soul what Allah would bring to light, and you feared men, and Allah had a greater right that you should fear Him. But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah’s command shall be performed. There is no harm in the Prophet doing that which Allah has ordained for him; such has been the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and the command of Allah is a decree that is made absolute.” (Shakir) According to the above Qur’anic verses, Allah himself ordained the marriage between Muhammad and Zainab while she was still the wife of his adopted son.

Even according to Quran Jesus followers Christians will be Victorious Muhammad Sarwar: He told Jesus, "I will save you from your enemies, raise you to Myself, keep you clean from the association with the disbelievers, and give superiority to your followers over the unbelievers until the Day of Judgment. On that day you will all return to Me and I shall resolve your dispute. Surah 3:55@@mogamadRSA

@@mogamadRSA Can you talk to Allah and Can Allah talk to you or you just repaeat prayers in Arabic not having personal relationship with God. The true God the God od Moses,David, Isaiah the God of the Bible talks to his true followers.

While I do respect Sheikh and the knowledge he comes with but I do not agree with his explanation on the Hijra. There are so many shocking facts and figures that we see for living in the west we have hundreds of thousands of Muslims living in the west who are Muslims just by name, they don’t know a single word about Islam and what makes it worse is the Dajjal’s big movements that are LGB…., interest-Riba and feminism. There are verses of Quran and Sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH that discourages living in a non Islamic society. No matter what challenges we have in Islamic countries you can never compare them with western non Islamic countries. Allah SWT knows best. Peace.

Depends on which non Muslim place or Muslim place you are talking about..... Poland or Korea isnt Islamic, but London is a more Islamic place to live in than Beirut or Casablanca. There are Muslim countries where there is a lot of Fahisha in public and the govt is oppressive as well. If you go to Madinah yes it will be Hijrah. But going to a place like Beirut or Dubai or Damascus you wont find much "Islam" there, and on top of that yoy will get many of the fawahish of the west (Except the lgbt bit)

There are a lot of Muslims in Muslim countries who don't even know the basics of Islam or even pray. You could say Muslims in the west probably have more access to authentic understanding of Islam compared to the deviant beliefs in the Muslim world.

This shaikh is lots of fluffy talk but no evidence from scholars or consensus. Should the early Muslims then not made hijra from makka?

Funny how Haitham Al-Haddad is talking about the dodgy councils when he was on them.

The sheikh dropped the ball on his Hijrah answer. Obviously does not have all the facts of whats really going on out there.

I used to listen to sheikh haitham before them i found his views has changed over years. I don't agree with his regarding hijrah. Hijrah will continue until qiyamah. There is mo comparison with a muslim land to a non muslim land. I believe sheikh himself doesn't want to move. Sheikh dr muhamamd salah moved and he has a video in youtube why he moved. O stopped listen to sheikh haitham long ago

I agree with Muslims should stay in the west but i also think Muslims should also leave the west as well.

He lacks mannerism and it comes across very clearly that his intentions is not really to seek and spread truth rather mock and humiliate whoever he invites on his platform. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." [Qur'an 2:156]

There is no such thing as Islamic Finance currently.

I understand the sheikh's point and appreciate it but can we please stop always using the 'Africa is poor trope'? It really is off-putting and fosters racism. My kids have to hear enough of this stuff from average Muslims at the masjid and school. There are several poor areas around the world outside Africa and even poorer than many African countries.

Definitely is a repeated trope that shows ignorance. How a continent with 54 countries can be defined universally is humorous and says a lot about the describer than what they are describing. Anyway, ignorance can only be healed by humility and knowledge. We need to take our families to these places and show them how enriched these places are, they may not have all the hi-tech infrastructure but they have communities and strong values Alhamdullilah, they are mostly living far more joyously and content than ourselves in the West who stress about bills, Fitnah and consumerism. A valuable lesson to teach our kids (and ourselves): That money has no part of the process of being enriched.

This is a shaitan not a sheikh
