Porter was solid in most of his analysis here but not in some parts. Benavidez walked over Andrade primarily because he hits too hard and Andrade cannot hurt him with punches. Andrade's highest hopes were at 154. Benavidez fought smarter than Andrade also, but it does not mean Benavidez should be elevated on the P4P list for beating down a 154 pounder who was never as well rounded as many people assumed.

Andrades team had the wrong strategy going into the fight. It was said he rehydrated up to 190, I guess to try and bang with David but he needed to stick and move like Plant was doing before Plant gassed out. He was successful with it the first couple rounds but that extra weight decreases the stamina. The way to beat David is to outbox him but you need to be able to do it for 12 rounds.. he’s too much to just stand in there and exchange with

Shawn Porter the real top guy’s skill wise in boxing today are all in the lighter weight divisions. These guys are the most skilled in boxing but not necessarily in this order. Lomachenko, Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney, Gervonta Tank Davis and Teo Feamo Lopez. The Japanese kid is up there but then you got guys like Keith Thurman, Jaron Boots Ennis, Terrence Crawford , Errol Spence,Gary Russel Jr and Tyson Fury.
