The man already beat two of the top welterweights Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter, they had their chances. He's coming off surgery if he wants to take a tune-up fight he has every right to do that if he wants to take two tune up fights he could do whatever the hell he wants then after that if he don't fight a top welterweight then we can say he's making excuses. This man is just smart enough to know better not to take a big fight after a surgery and long layoff he wants to make sure he gets those wins. We all want to see him fight at his best right? Thurman is gonna be 70% in his next fight for sure... I wanna see him at 100% against Spence or Porter.. even though he for sure beats Porter again.

I just want to know why Porter ain't calling out Errol Spence Jr if he wants a fight so bad with a top contender. At least Errol has a belt, Danny ain't got a belt. Terence Crawford is going to be avoided to watch

Porter has fought his way back to a rematch, and that is the problem with boxing...He is just calling the people out to their face that he wants to fight and pressures them to give a reason why they can't. He did win the eliminator fight to get the shot? What was the point in that? Boxing needs structure, and it's ran by too many organizations. Wish they would merge and force the promoters for their boxers to fight the ranks. No way should Thurman be aloud to fight a tuneup fight as long as there is a mandatory on the table. Figure your issues out in the gym. Thurman vs Porter, winner should go on to Spence. Danny Garcia needs another win on a top guy before he should be given anything.

The gym is a lot different from that main stage after a lay off and multiple injuries including elbow and arm the gym is definitely different from that main stage

Nobody wants to see a rematch. Like why yall people wanna see same people fight twice or more like ggg canelo or maidana mayweather or kovalev ward. Like those fights were too close like this one thurman porter too close. Second fight gonna always be the same give or take. That actually was brilliant by Porter, especially how they eventually faced of after all the hugs and handshakes...media loved it. As did I...they both can articulate themselves well and they have genuine respect and admiration for each other

He was WBO champion. It was lineal. He beat the champion that beat the champion etc. No vacant titles or interim titles. Shawn was at the top at one point sharing the spotlight with Thurman, Garcia, Spence, Brook, Khan.
