It is. Lex' tune is the same song with adjustments to the pace tone and just a couple of rearrangements

"Rhapsody in Blue" I think is the name of this theme. Shawn hated this theme. The idea for his character was "Rock n Roll" sexy, Vince envisaged "dream boy" sexy.

They ended up with something very similar for The Narcissist Lex Luger. It was better than this, though, and suited the gimmick much better.

Good grief, you're right, it's George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. Can only have been used for a few weeks before Jim Johnston got cracking on Sexy Boy!

they did that a lot back then usually because vince wanted the wrestler out there right away and jim johnstone or jimmy hart didnt have time to come up with a theme yet,but usually they made good

Funny thing, THIS was his first singles match since the brake up of The Rockers! How about that, huh? Lovely stuff. Doink beat Bret on a house show. Sherri and Liz were supposed to have a program, but Vince nixed it. The Bushwackers were gonna get the belts at one stage, that got nixed. Yes sir. Yes indeed. Aurelian Smith Jr caught a jobber dancing to his theme backstage, and went straight to Vince citing disrespect on the jobbers part. That jobber had to explain and apologise to Jake. Jim Hellwig had over heard the whole thing, and some believe this is why he had beef with Roberts. Yes it is. The LOD vs The Powers was the classic. Double J went to Chuck Norris about taking a superkick at Series94. They'd practise for hours, and even danced around to With My Baby Tonight. HHH wants Stephanies inheritance, it has to be said. Crush's heel turn WAS best for business, looking back. Lex stiffed Broady in the cage in Florida, THAT'S why Broady wouldn't sell and THAT'S why Luger ran off. Yes sir. Yes it is. Austin blamed Mero for his split lip, and subsequent stitches at KOTR96. Shawn didnt take to Foley at first. Mick overheard a HBK rant about him and ran out of the building. John Tenta had a shoot match in Japan against Koji Kitao. The two men would go for each others eyes and only one winner was declared.
