Taker will always be are childhood, no matter what, grew up watching him in 1990 through out 2009 and I am glad that it ended in my teenage years in 2009. taker was that good, no one can say who’s born in 2007 and today that they grew up watching taker cause that’s just a slap on the faces for us, who grew up watching him first as a kid 😎

There will never ever be another heel character like this. I'm glad they went with such a monstrous version of Taker during the Attitude Era, he was truly the greatest heel of that time.

Me too, don't scare me anymore though, but used to 💩 myself when watching him on tv , plus i have seen him (deadman persona) , kane (unmasked) and bald headed big show live. Ministry of darkness undertaker is definitely my favourite and at the royal rumble 1999 when he had apa attack viscera and pulled his hoody down , rolled his eyes back then stared at viscera that really scared the 💩 out of me. There are sooooo many like us all around the world who were kids when THE UNDERTAKER lived this character and it terrified us. Now most of us are in their thirtees and seeing this takes us back in time and brings smile. Thanks to the phenom the great Undertaker for making our childhood great. The cool thing is that Mark was ALWAYS in Character. I really wish more wrestlers were like it. The Dumb Scmucks and Kenny Twinkle Toes McFingerbang did a LOT to destroy the wrestling industry. Did I know that Mark Calloway was playing a character? Yes. But the fact that he was in character ALL the time make it BELIEVABLE. Frankly the ONLY other person in USA like that is Gangrel.

No matter which version of the Undertaker, whether it's the original deadman, the american badass, Phenom or the ministry gimmick, He's always the Legend.

I was just flipping through the channels one night and saw a dark screen with a crowd, I knew it was wrestling but I never saw an entrance like that before, I watched the match, was impressed by his physicality in the ring, and was hooked ever since!

The looks, the theme song, the presence, his in ring performances: peak Undertaker, this is why he became my favorite wrestler of all times

The "Accept The Lord of Darkness as your savior" gives me chills. I found out about this version of Taker 7 years ago. I wasn't born in the 90s but I wish I was, Imagine seeing The Undertaker at his prime! This is without a doubt my favorite Gimmick. I'd say this is the best character he played in his career way better than The Hybrid Undertaker.

Nobody can replace Undertaker, he is the only one phenom in WWE and in real life.

Most demonic version of Undertaker and my personal favorite version.. I was only 8 when he formed ministry and This Undertaker used to scare the shit out of me as a kid

Mark Callaway was born for this role. From the Master of Pain to the Ministry of Darkness to the American Badass to Big Evil or simply The Phenom Nobody else in the history of wrestling could have pulled off this gimmick. Even the M.O.P. , "The Punisher" Dice Morgan and "Mean Mark Callous" seem like early incarnations of the American Badass. The way he played the Deadman character, how it transitioned to the Ministry and then to the Badass, and how easily he brought back the Deadman, but new and improved was simply amazing. All his gimmicks and personas are forms of The Undertaker and he made it believable.

This version of Taker was simply "The lord of darkness".

I love the Ministry of Darkness era of The Undertaker. It used to scare me as a kid. My all time favorite era of The Undertaker. That's why he is The Lord of Darkness

When I was a kid back in 1998/99 This version of The Undertaker use to scare the crap out of me but yet I was curious 😂 that’s how you know they had gold back then the old days. ❤

Quite simply the most chilling theme to be produced, you actually BELIEVED there was a 'Darkness/evil' he was following.

When this Undertaker was the main WWF villian, really feeled like OMG we are f*cked. Because regular villians they felt like cowardly liars who win only by cheating. instead the ministry of darkness really felt like something awe-inspiring that was won by brute force. And yeah I know i know,before someone answer me, the ministry of darkness did cheat at times. But wasn't the only way to win like most main antagonist in this show.

My thoughts pretty much. That shit blew me away as a kid, I remember being so frightened at the same time... even the theme songs couldn't have been more perfect. It really was the absolute peak of their creativity in terms of everything writing, acting, talent, theatrics. Too bad they have shit writers now. Rock and metal music was such a big part of their image, I think that's what made all the difference between then and now. With all that gone now you have this yuppie duppie superman punch cheesefest, its literally unwatchable.

This was a true character, who causes impression, amazement, admiration, loaded with enormous adrenaline along with the best entertainment. It's awesome how even when he was the company's top heel and was doing unspeakable things such as literally crucifying people, beating anyone who dared to cross in her path to near death and even going as far as targeting a young Stephanie, the people still cheered at him. This character was like the Antichrist: Evil but extremely charismatic

Man, these were glorious times. Switching back between Nitro and Raw. Seeing stuff like this going on that we still talk about all these years later. Wish I could go back to those days.

I can believe this because if you look around At Undertaker in his Corporate Ministry Segments he actually looks bored and uncaring of what’s going on around him.

Kind of ironic you say that, this version of Taker came about BECAUSE he was badly injured but Vince really needed him badly to work, so he worked... so casting him as an evil faction boss with underlings that fought for him let him take it easy most nights and keep physical work to an extreme minimum. If he was healthy, there's a chance the entire faction would not have happened

They're more than good enough to carry themselves, it just helped that at the time them plus Gangrel were a perfect fit for the Ministry. APA... Eh... yeah... I dunno... MY ALL TIME FAVORITE UNDERTAKER!!! My inner teenager has got goosebumps. 1:53 Undertaker's Wrestlemania entrance with that outfit looked sick as hell. It's liked Dracula and Satan fused together

My single biggest regret as a wrestling fan is that I never got a chance to see Undertaker wrestle live. But I hope that when this pandemic I can meet him IRL and get his autograph or something. Hands down my favourite wrestler of all time.

I’ve seen him wrestle twice. I saw him and Brock at No Mercy 2002 Hell in a Cell. And again in like 07. In 07 the woman sitting next to me was a massive Undertaker fan! When the first “gong” hit for his entrance, she burst into tears! She had never seen him live and he was really the only reason she bought tickets! She couldn’t contain herself after being pretty relax before he came out. That’s the effect he has on people man…his aura is one of a kind. That entrance live on a random smackdown was amazing! I can’t even imagine what a Wrestlemania version in person would be like!

I saw Taker v. Yokozuna at a house show in Baltimore and they did the casket match. i swear it really got colder in the arena. nothing like it!! (side Note: where I also found out Yoko wasnt japanese because i overheard him talking)

When Taker started the Ministry of Darkness it legit scared the crap out of me as a kid.

Because Vince's Corporate Ministry idea killed it and Taker felt that the Undertaker character had run its course and was growing stale, so he went on hiatus for about a year and came back as the American Badass.

This is perhaps the greatest Ministry Taker compilation ever. Whenever i watch it, I basically relive my childhood in 4 minutes. Awesome work and the quality of each clip is excellent 👌🏻

Best version of Taker ever. All they did was take his existing character and amplified it to match the renegade vibe that the WWF was at that time. A masterpiece.

Literally, Goat of the devil

This was by far my favourite version of Taker. I wish he'd had one more go at it before he retired.
