The only difference is that the instrument is called either a violin or a fiddle depending on what music is being played and there are minor differences in style of play. In a classical setting no one is going to say "that guy is playing the fiddle". Or if you're playing upbeat folk music people will generally refer to the instrument as a fiddle. That and sometimes the strings are made out of different materials. But that's irrelevant. If you own a violin, you're not going to say "you know what? I already have a violin, I'm going to go buy a fiddle now. That's because they're the same instrument. Only stylistic differences.

@@xJayhawkFANx well at least you have this correct. I was waiting for you to tell me that Charlie Daniels was a violin player. Yes they come in the same box but.....we both know it's the style of music as to what you call the instrument

Watching this made me realize how much I love Shawn Mendes and Zac Brown Band, and they sound so incredible together. I’m listening on repeat.

Zac really brought a whole new raw emotion to this song. Zac has this weathered texture to his voice and it really made me feel the pain in this song and the electric guitar really prominent made it very rock. Loved this

Shawn is a great writer n Zac’s vocals just murdered this track. 🥰👏🏽👏🏽

Absolutely. Their version of "Colder Weather" is SO GOOD! Shawn sounds gorgeous on it. I wanted him to cover the whole song himself after hearing their Crossroads version of it.

Hands down, one of the best collaborations in a long time!🤘🏼

I hope Zac Broen will come back to their originally kind of music, country, country folk, country rock, country pop.. you know... this energy.. saw their show in Calgary and it was one of th best shows I've been to!
