This is the best year there will ever be for Hong Kong cinema in my opinon lol. For me it started with 88 films release of Dragon's Forever and then has just kept going and going and going.

I'm going to keep it I have Killer Clans on DVD two copies

Thanks for watching - me too that set got pushed back but it's okay since I'm still behind with so many movies suddenly to watch!

Hey Robert, the set looks really great. I will pick it up in a couple of weeks time, it won't be up on Amazon until the street date and Shout don't ship to the UK. I have all of those films so for the most part it's mostly upgrades. Overall I think it's a very strong set and I am glad Chor Yuen is getting some attention at last as he was probably Shaws second most prolific director. I am probably more excited for volume 4 though.

I just got my set and it has me listed as doing a comm track on DEATH DUEL, which I didn’t do. So if yours has somebody else listed they must have some batches that weren’t corrected.

ahh interesting! I suppose Shout Factory is pumping these out so rapidly that some QC things are getting switched up in the shuffle!

Do they offer the original English dub? This volume it would seem has more titles I am familiar with. I wonder for the license agreement Shout has a certain amount of time to release them.

Thanks for watching -- it seems like whatever movies were dubbed years ago by a UK company for broadcast have their English dubs carried over. It says on the Shout website which have dubs or not.

What about the audio languages? It would have nice to know which ones have English dubs

Thanks for watching - usually the english dubs are included on movies that were licensed and released through UK companies years ago who made those dubs.

This is a waste to only have Mandarin language versions when most of these classic films have popular English dubbed soundtracks. It will turn off a plethora of loyal fans and potential paying customers like me. I'll wait for Arrow blu-ray to keep putting out their Shawscope library. This is very frustrating for me and shortsighted on their part

Thanks for watching - Looks like most of the SB movies in the upcoming Iron Triangle set have english dubs --- I think it just depends on if the UK companies who dubbed them back in the 1980s made a dub or not
