@@theremnants6655 no, that's actually pretty common in KZ some folks are able to understand the state language (which is Kazakh) but can't speak it, that's why Sayat here translates everything to Russian, well maybe he does speak Kazakh a little but I'm assuming that he's more comfortable with Russian

I have only ever heard that term used for boxing matches, and I thought in boxing, the a side refers to the boxer who is going to draw in the majority of the pay-per-view buys and/or ticket sales. But it sounds like you meant the guy who you expect to tune up the other guy when you said it.

Shavkat is lethal but I do think people are overhyping him slightly. I thought he got hit too often in that Neal fight and against the top tier guys, he won't be able to just walk them down.

He's not walking them down like you think hes actually very calculated there and picks his attacks pretty wisely with his aggressive style. Yeah he got tagged couple of times against Neal but Neal is arguably the best boxer in that division and he survived from Neal's best shots and recovered pretty fast. Shavkat is very well rounded and got that fighting spirit wich means he is very hard to beat. The real boogieman of the welterweight division Shavkat "nomad" Rakhmonov!

If you watch the interview with Luke Thomas, he says that he’s never trained or fought against anybody that has sport karate background and for him to face it for the first time with the best to do it is not a good idea for him.

Shavkat aimed for the body throughout the entire fight and won most of the exchanges. Neal had his moments, that’s really about it. He rocked him in the third, but Shavkat rocked him with just a well-placed jab. Stephen is a great striker, the best in the entire division. However, if Shakvat gets in and clinches him, that’s it. Not only that, all he has to do is press him against the cage. And once he’s in the clinch Shavkat will completely destroy him. If Gilbert managed to get him to the fence, what do you think Shavkat will do. And I’m a heavy wonderboy fan. And even though Wonderboy has a chance, and I believe people are underestimating him a bit, Shavkat has way more ways to dish out damage then just standing and I’m not even talking about takedowns. For every clinch he puts Stephen in, that’s gonna be damage. Whether it’s the body or the face.

Also fans are not understanding that Wonderboy is the A-Side in this fight. Fans also think Neal coming in over weight was an advantage to him, no actual Neal was out of shape and barely trained for that fight and still exposed Shavkat. Where on the other hand Neal was in the best shape of his life and put on his best performance and still got outclassed and dominated by Wonderboy. They’re based off their overall performance. If you wanna talk about who is built different and you wanna talk about regions, the Balkan region surpasses the Russian regions.
