Shaunie and her son Shareef sit down to reflect on Shareef’s open heart surgery and his recovery. The 6’9 basketball star and son of Shaq had to seek aid to repair a right coronary artery in 2018. Everything he felt going back is palpable. He had to spend so much time thinking about his heart that he couldn't do anything like play and not think about it. Glad to know he's doing well, and continued prayers for his wellness. He's an exceptional young man.
Shaunie is an exceptional person. Shaq chose well. Sharif(sp) was raised well. Continued success to this family.

When i had the heart monitor on they never saw anything..HIS PROBLEM WAS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HEART.. MINE IS THE LEFT VENTRICLE. im so happy for him. Hes to the point he doesn't even think about it and that is remarkable.. Keep moving fordward enjoy your life DONT STRESS about nothing.. school... female etc.. IM SO HAPPY FOR U.

True I agree with you but in this day and age of GoFundMe perhaps a number of those family members would be able to get some kind of decent financial help as long as they are able to prove that they are telling the truth about the need for the money

Here’s what I have learned. Once diagnosed with a heart disease, there is no cure but instead management and treatments. Even surgeries are not a cure, you have to always monitor your heart and activities.

That is why you establish a true friendship FIRST, even if you find you are not life partners, You can be lifelong friends and co-parent together. That is what true love and family is.

I’m surprised Tamron would put a woman on her show who has a history of treating black women poorly and exhibiting colorism which she calls “favoritism”. Great that Shareef is doing well but we can’t give someone who actively promotes harmful images and co-signs abuse and harassment towards black women.

It's not like this was a planned meeting were you not listening? She got on a plane and flew in and attended a rush meeting late at night. If she wasn't in town I imagine he wasn't either and at the moment recall she had no idea what he meeting was about be cause they didn't disclose it on the phone. Shaunie is likely the primary parent so this was just a natural thing. If there was a medical issue for me my mom would be there that's just that.
Definitely happy this young Man came through such a Major surgery, successfully! Amen! However I’m not up for the Show.... the antics, name calling, and overall tomfoolery is simply not entertaining . It’s disgraceful the things they are willing to subject themselves to all in the name of ratings....
