There has been a small exchange cut form this video. When Brand asks where his men can find water well away from camp, Sharpe asks him why his men won't be camping with the other soldiers, to which Brand replies, it's a matter of moral.

If you have no need for powder, best to deny it to your enemies. Otherwise, you are hauling useless powder that you now have to guard and keep dry, all for nothing.

Why is Sharp's wife in a military camp?
@bakersmileyface
5 жыл бұрын
Ironically it's the safest place for her. If she goes back to England, the only place she can stay is with her relatives. If she stays with her relatives, then her uncle (Henry Simmerson) will keep her there and show her what hell looks like in the meantime. Now she could go to an town in Spain that's occupied, like Gibraltar. However Henry Simmerson's influence runs deep. There's no saying that something won't happen to her there. And if the French come or something happens to that city, there will be nobody there to save her. So the best place for her to be, is in a Military camp. Full of men that are loyal to Sharpe, with a commander that favours Sharpe and as a lady, if the French come then she would be given certain privileges. Rent also happens to be free xD
