Sharon Stone, what a beautiful soul. I will never forget her heart wrenching video at the height of the pandemic when her sister was very ill. She is genuine, grateful, and open which seems rare for someone of her caliber. She is a breath of fresh air and so glad she is around to share.

My fave Sharon Stone moment was at the end of Casino, when she's in a white stole and heels, outside the bank, and the 2 cops show up, ....and she acts like a disheveled knock-kneed cross-eyed kook.

This interview makes me sad. I can’t believe that this woman had been incredibly famous and beloved by millions of people all over the world yet she was all alone in her early forties when she had the stroke and it took 3 days for someone to take her to the hospital! I find it so shocking and sad, she is very lucky to be alive and have recovered fully. I am glad she is speaking out and sharing her incredible life story. 💕

Same thing happened to Joni Mitchell a few years ago. She too had a brain aneurysm and laid in her home for 3 days before being found. She should have died but somehow managed to survive. She has worked herself back to a degree but nowhere near as good as Sharon has.

I had 30 years of belly pain, misdiagnosed by numerous docs until finally, by a stroke of luck, I found a surgeon who recognized my symptoms as gallbladder and I had surgery that very evening. She said there were 3 large stones inside, one the size of a peach pit. There was no excuse for the pain I suffered up to that point except ignorance.

I am currently reading the book and I was amazed at how vulnerable Sharon allowed herself to be. She is an amazing woman. I'm so glad that she is in a good place. I think we have to stand up for ourselves with the medical profession. They have told me that my problems weren't as bad as they were and I insisted that there was a problem. It's a shame that women have to go through this but that is the reality.

For 25 years, doctors didn't take me seriously. They told me my problems were emotional (hysterical woman). Finally I found a doctor who took me seriously and tested me based on my symptoms. He and 3 other doctors, including a Social Security physician, determined I had very severe physical illness. I got Social Securiy immediately. I struggled to work all that time.when I wasn't taken seriously. Pathetic!

I am so glad you found a doctor who cared enough to follow through. And what happened to you happens all the time. I had an encroached nerve in my neck that was so debilitating I lost the use of my arm and for 5 yrs while half the doctors were misdiagnosing my symptoms, the other half were implying it was all in my head until one doctor finally connected the dots. And frankly, I'd rather have a doctor who cannot properly diagnose my symptoms refer me to another doctor. What a wonderful interview. I so adore Sharon Stone. I had a subarachnoid Haemorrahage when I was 28 years of age. I too died on the table, had to learn to walk and talk again. I remember the pain. I got lucky, I was found on my floor by a female doctor who took me straight to the hospital. If it was not for her I would be dead today. So good to listen to Sharon and her story because it happens just like that.

Why do I like Sharon Stone, is it that she went crazy and is vulnerable and tough? resilient.. Maybe because she's not Glen Close from Fatal Attraction but Basic Instincts, both with Michael Douglas.

Inspiring for all of us to keep learning and growing. Katie thanks for keeping us always thinking of "what can i do?" I appreciate your content with interviews like this to keep us on our toes! It gives me confidence in taking chances no matter why we "shouldn't do it". Yay! Maybe i should.....fill in the blank! Gonna do that!

I had gallbladder issues with stones when I was 11 years old so it doesn't matter how old you are, you can have problems.

I had gallbladder issues from a young age as well. Doctors refused to even test my gallbladder. When I was 26 a doctor finally did and I had it removed.

@@conniescher3359, I was lucky...I had my last attack on a Friday and was in hospital on the following Monday. That was 53 years ago now...seems to me the doctors were better back then.

Thank you!

Sharon Stone brings so much to the table. Her stamina and what looks to be a very full recovery makes her an ever more compelling figure and artist. For Hollywood to dump women due to age or refusal to be sexually harassed is doing itself such damage. Let the artist produce her art, and please get rid of this age/sex nonsense it is destroying the film industry, and wasting talent.
