    My 8 years daughter lost her all right upper lashes from allergic blepharitis. It's been 8 months. She has been using Latisse for 3 months without any result. I am lost and heart broken. She sometimes get awkward questions from her classmates. The dermatologist my daughter is seeing, seems like she has no clue. What should I do? Please help.

    May I ask you what are your treatments for Ophiasis?

  • @profLidiaRudnicka

    @profLidiaRudnicka

    3 жыл бұрын

    Ophiasis is most difficult to treat. In my opinion no topical or intralesional methods wrk. It requires systemic therapy and is still sometimes quite resistant to therapy (I just noticed your comment, sorry for the very long delay)

    Thank you Professor for your clear presentation. May I ask you if did you have any side effects under cyclosporine treatment. And which dose of MTX do you give to childrens? Kind regards

  • @profLidiaRudnicka

    @profLidiaRudnicka

    3 жыл бұрын

    No, basically no adverse effects. I start with 100 mg/d monitor and increase up to about 3.5 mg/kg. Remember to monitor Mg. MTX - the same as in psoriasis - also rather startig low
