Welcome to chapter 8 of the top gun porta jon build! The top gun name lives on now that I've made the transition to Brigade Boats as the Porta Jon 12 ft portable jon boat project continues!
In this video, we take a few steps back. Before the floor system (CH 7)and before the actual boat paint job (CH 6), I did what you will see in this video! This is the step by step instruction of how I hand painted my WW2 Flying Tigers inspired shark teeth on my jon boat. I'll show you all the materials needed, how I do it, and a few tips and tricks along the way! I did time lapse footage of the full process, two coats on all colors!!! This is killer! Ive always thought shark teeth looked cool on just about anything but this is my first time seeing them on a boat and you did a great job dude. Keep up the good work!

Diggin the paintjob, It really has the fighter plane look. 👍🔥
I would lay out the over all shape and paint it white with a couple of coats then lay out the black and red and paint them over. That way you are only painting to the line with one color.

Reminds me of the Flying Tiger squadron. They flew P40 War Hawks in WWII and in modern time fly the Fairchild A10.
