And I would bet most of these guys all have tons of connections, not just Mark. I bet you every single one of them could get somebody from Starbucks to taste the jerky themselves and try to convince them to put it on the shelf. And vice versa. Any other place. Money and connections is the most important. The one downside with Mark nobody talks about is he has way too many businesses. He probably gives each one way less time than somebody else would with less businesses.

This guy is the perfect balance of humble and a good business man! I typically feel indifferent for people who secure deals on the show but with Michael in this one I am VERY happy for him. Seems incredibly genuine with a real product and a real business. Good for him!

Man that's gonna hurt for Lori. Spent most of the time sharing how excited she was and then Mark takes the deal. Even when you don't expect it, Mark is still confident to pull a coup and take any deal from other sharks. My observation so far, watching all the seasons, is whenever Mark loves the product, and even if he stays silent for the whole pitch, he is definitely going to get the deal ultimately.

Been getting into watching these lately. Kevin is savagely hilarious and Mark is savagely calculating at snagging deals.

I swear to God that I am buying this tomorrow on my way to run errands. This may be the product I've been looking for to eat as a protein snack without all the sodium of my usual jerky and sardines. 12 hours later: I did exactly that. This isn't just great jerky, its BETTER than jerky. The texture is softer and easier to chew but still satisfying like jerky. I got the zesty Thai flavor and it is PERFECT sweet and spicy and savory. Buy this stuff. Its borderline addictive. And I'm a die hard meat lover.

You know the product is good when Lori is asking if you want to make a counter to her deal instead of you making the counteroffer first and Mark Cuban is screaming his lungs out after getting the deal.

Mark's savagery is legendary. He basically laid waste to Lori and her partna (partner) after she tried the ole Cuban now or never.

Pan don't need two sharks, all he wanted is a good partnership and Mark also being a vegetarian and have a product too with Starbucks is the better choice. Pan knows and did his homework and I believe Mark was his 1st choice anyways.

It’s very nice of Kevin to make sure the person understood both offers and alleviated some pressure off of him.

Mark not only stole Lori’s deal, he stole the Kroger idea as well. I tried these and they are very good, quite impressive and I didn’t know he was on shark tank for them.

Yeah but the thing is that Mark is Grade A investor. He's done it time after time and though Mark wants a relationship with his business, ultimately as an owner you want YOUR business to grow, with some help. And Mark offers that 100%. Lori says its about how close they'll be but it means nothing if there's massive amount of success like Mark says

A tired joke.

He was so appreciative at the end of it all. Most just hoot and holler and grin. This deal brought him to tears.

so many stores are copying him, i tried 2 or 3 of his "competitors"... they were all dry, flavorless, hard, and nasty as fuck. And yeah, they were "made with mushrooms" but not with love. clearly. Pans was actually everything that he promised. juicy meaty chewly and flavorful. so what it cost more. so what The stores cant even keep them in stock sometimes when I go in. I've began ordering whole cases, and selling to friends and family, and he even gave me a deal, I probably shouldn't say this, but normally a case costs 80 dollars, plus shipping, he was able to get my price down to 67 dollars, no shipping, and free samples in every box. support this guys business guys. He is doing great things.

Mark definitely the best Shark to go with. Selling these at at a marked up price at Mavs (maybe even other venues) games is already a huge hit. This is not even taking into account his connections in other areas.
