How much Paracord is needed for this design?

This is an original by JD Lenzen aka Tying It All Together and as such already existing as a perfectly done tutorial without a buckle. Also you might notice that all of his original designs only have 2 core strands. As can easily be observed in the Oat Spike Sinnet of him the use of 4 core strands distorts the design a bit and takes away from its crispness.

I actually think using 4 strands works really well if you want a more robust and less flimsy bracelet

Is there a way that this could be made into an adjustable watch band?
