Have you read the instructions, i also own this shark flexstyle and it is fantastic, you have to have damp hair when using the airwrap curlers, your hair was dry and you have to use heat and airblowing settings both on setting 3 the hottest setting you used setting 1 (too cool to curl well) . Curl small sections of hair it pulls hair onto airwrap with ease, i never have to wrap it around myself, hold for 10 seconds then use cold shot for 10 seconds and it produces spiral curls with ease, im sure you will really like it when it is used correctly...maybe watch some other reveiws it could be helpful to you then try using it again ......

Yes it's not worth it $$$ I have dry hair but when I use it on other folks with great hair it does the same thing! not worth the the amount of time you save with it

I was confused too! It definitely helps to use less hair and let the machine grab the hair, it’s tempting to twirl it too but I realized it curls much better just leaving it there. Also, I’d let it twirl all the way up to my root.

I have wavy/curly hair when I air dry, but if I try to curl it with a curling iron the curls fall right out. Maybe you can do a video on how to help prevent or stop that.

I can say my experience was same as hers. Fun to use but fell flat within minutes. I have better results with blow dryer, Revlon In Styler blow brush, and finish with a curling iron - for same timing and fraction of the price.

I’m so glad you did this video and last weeks, because I am in the market for something to curl my hair as easily as possible. I wanted to love this too but it didn’t seem to work as well as the TYMO. Darn. I wanted an automatic wrap around device.

She didn’t use it properly and I’m not sure which instructions she used… because everyone else who has done reviews has known to use the curling tool on 80-90% damp hair… not dry hair. Please don’t let this review deter you :) It works well if done correctly!

I love How you ended this! I so Feel Ya on this. I have a Lange curl blower thingy aswell. And I feel the same. I like My curling Iron or wand or Waver. Iam A fan Of My Babbyliss pro... However it so loud losing hearing I'm sure. But It Kicks when Having Alot of hair, plus IAM Addicted to Exstensions. Your hair looks too dry for this to work. The whole point of the airwrap/flexstyle is that it wetsets your hair. If you're not wet setting, of course the curl isn't going to hold

You might want to watch some of the Dyson tips. If you want the curl to stay you use a styling product and clip it for about an hour. Just something that might help if you're interested.

Oh noo. My teenage daughter uses the revlon. She will be devastated if it ruins her hair! I’m gonna make sure her hair is 80% dry before she uses it. Hopefully that will help with damage. She only uses it every 3 days or so. How often did you use it?

@@Mrsjam96 I used it 4 times a week, used on low, and made sure to use heat protectants and my hair was only damp. In all the research I've done on the Revlon, it seems like women with fine hair are having the most damage. It starts as breakage around the hairline and then thins/breaks the rest of the hair gradually. I found one by Chi that was supposed to be less damaging, but after a month the attachments wouldn't stay on. It's frustrating!
