I was having a think and you must spend absolutely hours prepping the tackle, the boat, the cameras, finding the areas, planning the trip taking into account the tides etc. Then editing the footage which I know can take ages. The time you actually spent fishing is pretty negligible! But, all the hard work has paid off because the finished product is amazing. Also, I can't quite get over how blue those sharks actually are! Looking forward to going out on the Anglo Dawn next Wednesday!

Hi again from Oz, thanks for another great video John, there's been a few recent shark attacks in Oz & I'm wondering if it occurs at all in the UK or are the sharks too far offshore to be a threat. In my eyes they're beautiful creatures & I think they only become a threat when we take their natural food from them with the "super trawlers " that take everything & upset the balance of nature. Its great that you have the mindset to protect these beautiful creatures, well done mate. Cheers from Oz

  • @TheFishLocker

    - Thanks George, we don't really have shark attack problems here in the UK, usually any incidents are from people messing with the sharks and getting a nip for their trouble. I truly hope the video not only helps folks out but also puts emphasis on the proper handling and safe release of sharks. 😊
