All float rigs, bouy rigs, etc have lower hook up ratio, you usually get a slack line as the first sign of a hit but you want to let them eat so its a little trickier then a normal bite. I'm developing a different version and way of using floats and suspending baits that I think will work better for me but will continue to test and dial in the terrafirma rig. Also if your area has decent current they are hard to hold and drift down the beach. So far I haven't fished them in a area without a lot of current, so that may be the problem. Years ago like 2016 or 2017 we (apexsharkfishing ) got some rigs from you. They were solid rigs we caught a bunch of fish on them. I like the videos, keep them coming ill keep watching.

Bro You did? I appreciate that shout out and happy you liked them ❤️🤙 If you ever fish California floats are the only way to go. Overall they have allowed us to catch "uncatchable" fish in unfishable areas. California is a whole different animal.

Question: Avet 80 wide. Mono top shot or strait braid? And what size lb test do you prefer for ALL waters besides TX coast? I'm down here in Corpus area. Everybody has their own line methods. Curious to know yours. Thx

I use top shot, even in pins. Generally I'll use 200# hollow braid and then I'll add either 200# or 150# mono topshot depending on the Area
