It’s been a very long time since I have been offshore fishing in my kayak. This was the maiden voyage of my PA14 being offshore on Padre Island National Seashore. I had some technical difficulties right off the bat, with a wave crashing in my kayak on the first break. My automatic inflater on my PFD inflated before I ever got in the kayak. The depth finder was lit up most of the way out to the rocks off of PINS and I caught a few fish and had a very interesting time fishing solo on this trip! Have a look.

@@YakmonOutdoors It had been way too long since we fished together. I ended up with 19 and 5 off the casting platform. I could see fish in the next county off that thing it was awesome!
