Do not try this at home! Getting in the water after a shark makes a kill can increase your chances of an accidental bite. Swimming with shark can be dangerous though this was all done in as safe a way as possible. Shark are not man eaters but we still need to respect their space, we gave the shark a few minutes to finish her lunch and didn't get too close to the kill site. Being in the water with a bunch of fish blood probably increased the chances of an accidental bite though with good visibility I knew the sharks would more easily be able to tell that we were human and not fish.
We see a hammerhead shark catch a tarpon and then we get in the water to snorkel. Hammerhead shark thrashes around the shallows, killing and eating a tarpon after throwing it out of the water. We wait a few minutes and get into the water to snorkel. No hammerhead in sight though an elusive bull shark pays a visit before I can get the camera rolling. Cool stingray at the end
