I thought everyone (women) talked to their girlfriends about their sexcapades-especially if there are issues and you’re not satisfied…they’re the first I’d think to go to for advice, etc. BUT-when it comes to mutual friends (even if it’s a girl friend that became good friends with you partner during college or something, but is still more loyal to you), I’d be wary of sharing, just in case something were to slip. But this would only be for cases where someone has very very close, reliable, and trustworthy best friends who have already proven that they’d never repeat what you say in confidence! These days I feel like that’s actually pretty rare

First rule never complain about the finance or boyfriend. There are elements in a relationship you do not share with a person who knows both of you and don't share highly intimate details to them.

I confide in some relationship stuff with my friends but there’s stipulations- certain things you don’t share… Bedroom stuff is one of them

I was interested in what Alyssa would have to say. But she could not say it because the co=hosts keep cutting her off.

The last time one of my girlfriends told me that her boyfriend was bad in bed, I suggested it might just be her. I don’t advise telling this to a woman. 😆

The problem is that they shared a friend so it was divided loyalty. We all over-share with our friends but you never expect what you share to get back to the spouse. Friendship 101 lol. It’s actually amazing to have friendships in your life where you can be 100% open with one another, even about intimate things. Some people get lucky and their partner is their best friend but not everyone’s relationship is like that.

Agree 100% with literally everything you said! There are times when you NEED to vent/ask if your best friend(s) have advice if there are issues in le bedroom with your partner! I’m not one who loves keeping things to myself (from my own life), hahaha. But I haven’t lived in the same city as my best friends in many years. But we were very open about literally everything when we were in the same city/living together. It was a different level of friendship than I’d experienced before college, though-and I do think that it’s more of a rarity these days to have such trusted people in your life where talking about anything feels easy and safe. Ideal situationship ABSOLUTELY = partner doubling as that type of best friend. Communication would be easy peazy (well, at least before kids I’d assume😂…haven’t been married so I probs shouldn’t speak on it)

I read on Twitter a very similar story yesterday. I’m positive it’s the same story but the ladies got some of the facts wrong. In the version I read, the man was constantly prying for information from the female best friend until she finally relented. He wasn’t told he was bad in bed, just that his fiancée said she’s had better lovers but he’s overall the better package. Very insecure of him to beg for the information then turn around and be upset about it.

I actually don't mind the break up. Sex is a very integral part of the relationship, especially for men. If she's not feeling it now, she may not ever and that may turn into her resenting having to do it later down the line. And then there creates the divide. She could have explained and apologised if necessary, and he could have understood that she was struggling to communicate with him sexually and they perhaps are in a rut and he can help get them through it with vulnerability and trust.

About the women’s basketball final four, I love basketball, but I don’t typically watch the women’s game too often because it’s not as exciting as a men’s game to me. Yes, I’m a man and I’m biased but I like to see dunks and the women’s game doesn’t offer that. Not only that, but far too often because it’s a fact that more men are in sports and women, which diminishes the talent which then go to the same teams and often the games are boring because they’re blowouts as opposed to a compelling game. I watched both the final four games yesterday, the NC State and South Carolina game was my typical experience for the women’s game. A blowout even amongst two good teams. However, the Iowa and UConn game was really good Other than the fact it’s just jump shots and layups, which aren’t really all that exciting to me.
