Crazy. Our daughter is a snowcat groomer at Grand Targhee. She was run over by a snowcat there about the same time. During her work shift at about 4 am she climbed onto a fellow groomer’s cat track to get an iPad for tracking where they had groomed for that night. The rookie cat driver failed to put the cat in “park” and when he turned around to get the iPad he caught the joy sticks with his elbows. The cat surged ahead and as she turned to jump off the cat her foot got wedged in the track. The 22,000 pound cat rolled over all but her head and left arm. The grooming tiller(like a meat grinder) was spinning full speed at the back of the cat. She was lucky. Lots of new soft snow and the cat turned off of her so she roll out from under and avoid the tiller. It is a miracle that she walked away with no broken bones or internal injuries. Jeremy we’ve watched your recovery and wish you the best. Our daughter leaves next week to hike most of the length of the Pacific Crest trail.

@@BootsiesM0M thank you. I actually woke up briefly at 4:00 am - same time as her accident. It wasn’t until several hours later that my wife told me our daughter was on the way to the hospital after being run over by a snowcat. Strange. She’s doing great now and home with us for a few days before she heads out for her several months hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. Have a great weekend.

The real Iron Man. We love you Jeremy and have been praying for you since that moment. I broke my ankle two months after your accident. I refused to complain about it for a single second because I knew if you could travel to Disneyland and *walk* only months after you nearly had been killed. I had no right to complain about two small bones, a few screws and some chicken wire. You inspired me my friend!! As you have for decades. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I was in a similar situation, half of my skull broken to pieces, doctors thought my brain was split into two parts, that I lost my eye, etc. I was given a few percent of a chance to survive, was later told my family should come to say goodbye... My skull was put together with a help of some metal pieces (Titanium), my brain apparently was not split into two pieces but according to doctors it was heavily damaged, they could not see one of my eyes at first, then later on they found but I was told I will most likely not see anything through that eye. I was told I will be paralysed for the rest of my life, not understanding language or be able to speak etc... EVERYTHING IS GONE! I was almost fixed to a point as if I never been in an accident. My brain so far works perfectly fine, my eye that I was told I most likely lost is working perfectly fine (tiny bit of a damage in seeing/vision 5% of damage or so). I can walk I can talk I can understand I can pretty much do all I was doing in the near past. I am just currently told I am not allowed to drive a car as they need to get a proper medical info from a doctors that I am good to drive again. I was 2-3 weeks in a coma, then 2-3 months at a hospital being trained to walk, talk, think, etc. Everything seems to work perfectly fine and doctors did an amazing job to work so hard on me to bring me back to life :)

@@danielvipin7163 Dear Daniel, I was driving from my work placement/job to my parents house to visit them... I have no idea how it happened and why it happened. My memory before entering the car park and the car is simply gone. I was trying to recall what/how it happened but until now I have no idea. There were no witnesses, no dash cams, no cctvs/outdoor cameras. I have been driving for 8 years, I had 4 different cars, I drove Vans for long distances, everything was really good until one day. Police, Firefighters and Ambulance came and my car had to be cut in pieces to get me out of the car. I do not remember anything until months later doctors were telling me what happened, my family told me what happened, etc. I kind of love driving vehicles, and used to travel around the UK a lot, go camping, hiking, walking long distances. After the accident I don't have much strength to walk really long distances or carry heavy stuff or work hard as I did before. I think I am slowly getting in shape but I guess it will take some time for me to be strong enough to do what I did before I had an accident. Yes there was another car involved/another person, but I never got much informations from the Police nor the Police could find who was at fault.

I loved seeing this commercial. I am so glad he pulled through. I just recently experienced a broken ankle and cried like a baby. Don't know if I would have made it through 30 plus broken bones!!Glad to see he is back at work.

Its good to hear your doing ok! You are an inspiration to people. I very much like the attitude. Let them fall out! 😀 It can be tough. People lose hope and think they can not do it. And sometimes there just isn't recovery no matter how much you want it. But it is important you never do give up. Be realistic about todays limitations but don't allow yourself to believe itll always be that way. I was injured so many many times in my 20s. I nearly had my arm rotated off. It took 1.5 years in physical therapy. They said I'd lose mobility. I didn't. I was impailed multiple times. One of those times, i was left basically for dead by the people i was with. I injured my legs and had to pretty much relearn how to walk. It took almost 2 years before i was basically back to normal. I lost body parts. They were severed. I got hit by a car right after surgery. Someone ran a red light. No joke. This is the short list. Theres so much more. Never quit. Never give up.

Thank you! The inspiration I needed ... I broke my ankle (3 ways); have 16 screws and 'a plate' and am still in PT, hobbling. And grateful for that. I don't need to do a marathon, but the ability to jog around the block ... 🤔 Note to self: Plan a trip to Brooks; try on a pair of "Renner's Runners". 🕊✌️🦋

I remember reading about that accident. The dude is a fucking bad ass. He helps plow that road in the winter with his snow-cat, and the accident was horrible and unfortunate. Glad he's gotten better.

Being injured and going through all the pains are so hard, discouraged and perhaps even look like impossible. Thank you for doing this. I'm sure it will inspire and make many survive.
