Crazy. Our daughter is a snowcat groomer at Grand Targhee. She was run over by a snowcat there about the same time. During her work shift at about 4 am she climbed onto a fellow groomer’s cat track to get an iPad for tracking where they had groomed for that night. The rookie cat driver failed to put the cat in “park” and when he turned around to get the iPad he caught the joy sticks with his elbows. The cat surged ahead and as she turned to jump off the cat her foot got wedged in the track. The 22,000 pound cat rolled over all but her head and left arm. The grooming tiller(like a meat grinder) was spinning full speed at the back of the cat. She was lucky. Lots of new soft snow and the cat turned off of her so she roll out from under and avoid the tiller. It is a miracle that she walked away with no broken bones or internal injuries. Jeremy we’ve watched your recovery and wish you the best. Our daughter leaves next week to hike most of the length of the Pacific Crest trail.

I was in a similar situation, half of my skull broken to pieces, doctors thought my brain was split into two parts, that I lost my eye, etc. I was given a few percent of a chance to survive, was later told my family should come to say goodbye... My skull was put together with a help of some metal pieces (Titanium), my brain apparently was not split into two pieces but according to doctors it was heavily damaged, they could not see one of my eyes at first, then later on they found but I was told I will most likely not see anything through that eye. I was told I will be paralysed for the rest of my life, not understanding language or be able to speak etc... EVERYTHING IS GONE! I was almost fixed to a point as if I never been in an accident. My brain so far works perfectly fine, my eye that I was told I most likely lost is working perfectly fine (tiny bit of a damage in seeing/vision 5% of damage or so). I can walk I can talk I can understand I can pretty much do all I was doing in the near past. I am just currently told I am not allowed to drive a car as they need to get a proper medical info from a doctors that I am good to drive again. I was 2-3 weeks in a coma, then 2-3 months at a hospital being trained to walk, talk, think, etc. Everything seems to work perfectly fine and doctors did an amazing job to work so hard on me to bring me back to life :)

@@danielvipin7163 Dear Daniel, I was driving from my work placement/job to my parents house to visit them... I have no idea how it happened and why it happened. My memory before entering the car park and the car is simply gone. I was trying to recall what/how it happened but until now I have no idea. There were no witnesses, no dash cams, no cctvs/outdoor cameras. I have been driving for 8 years, I had 4 different cars, I drove Vans for long distances, everything was really good until one day. Police, Firefighters and Ambulance came and my car had to be cut in pieces to get me out of the car. I do not remember anything until months later doctors were telling me what happened, my family told me what happened, etc. I kind of love driving vehicles, and used to travel around the UK a lot, go camping, hiking, walking long distances. After the accident I don't have much strength to walk really long distances or carry heavy stuff or work hard as I did before. I think I am slowly getting in shape but I guess it will take some time for me to be strong enough to do what I did before I had an accident. Yes there was another car involved/another person, but I never got much informations from the Police nor the Police could find who was at fault.

Its good to hear your doing ok! You are an inspiration to people. I very much like the attitude. Let them fall out! 😀 It can be tough. People lose hope and think they can not do it. And sometimes there just isn't recovery no matter how much you want it. But it is important you never do give up. Be realistic about todays limitations but don't allow yourself to believe itll always be that way. I was injured so many many times in my 20s. I nearly had my arm rotated off. It took 1.5 years in physical therapy. They said I'd lose mobility. I didn't. I was impailed multiple times. One of those times, i was left basically for dead by the people i was with. I injured my legs and had to pretty much relearn how to walk. It took almost 2 years before i was basically back to normal. I lost body parts. They were severed. I got hit by a car right after surgery. Someone ran a red light. No joke. This is the short list. Theres so much more. Never quit. Never give up.

@@BootsiesM0M thank you. I actually woke up briefly at 4:00 am - same time as her accident. It wasn’t until several hours later that my wife told me our daughter was on the way to the hospital after being run over by a snowcat. Strange. She’s doing great now and home with us for a few days before she heads out for her several months hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. Have a great weekend.
My cousin was one of your nurses at the Reno hospital and she said you were an absolutely delightful patient. Proud of our healthcare heroes.

A Walking, Running miracle. They said you couldn't, you showed them you could and did. You are a huge inspiration to other people in what you have accomplished. The real Iron Man. We love you Jeremy and have been praying for you since that moment. I broke my ankle two months after your accident. I refused to complain about it for a single second because I knew if you could travel to Disneyland and *walk* only months after you nearly had been killed. I had no right to complain about two small bones, a few screws and some chicken wire. You inspired me my friend!! As you have for decades. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I could care less about Hollywood, but seeing a human being suffer erases all such barriers. May God bless and protect you and your loved ones.
Jeremy, you don't know me, but I'm proud of you! My daughter was sh ot by a stalk er. She died 4 times before a miracle saved her. She's now a paraplegic. She's in physical therapy to be able to use her hands and arms. She's learning to do so much with her upper body. She's a very positive, cheerful young woman! She does have a dream, a goal.. and is working to reach them. 💜🕊
You are like a phoenix, you will rise from the ashes and be stronger. I am happy that you are here for your family, friends and your loyal fans and how wonderfully you are recovering physically and mentally. I am proud of you, may the guardian angel continue to protect you. ❤❤

A true inspiration. Good job Mr. Renner. AND WELCOM BACK HAWKEYE!!! 🏹
Ironic how, for the man who plays an Avenger with no “superpowers” (beyond extraordinary martial skills), he’s the one built most like a superhero in real life.
As a Reno local I know this city loves and supports Jeremy in whatever endeavor he may pursue. God bless you Hawkeye.
Mr. Renner, your recovery has been nothing short of incredible!! Keep it up, you’re so inspiring!!! 💪❤️🩹🏃🏻♂️👏
I feel like Jeremy is a genuine PERSON. He’s not caught up in all the Hollywood posturing and bullshit. He doesn’t do the rat race and he’s not over-saturating the market trying to stay relevant. I appreciate that and will see any movie he’s in because of who he is, not whether he’s the “it” guy for right now. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, Jeremy. The world needs more PEOPLE like you.
I had no idea. I am sorry. Dope recovery, soldier. Been a fan since Hurt Locker and they couldn't have picked a better Hawkeye. 🏹
God is great most definitely!! My granddaughter was born with pulmonary hypertension, right side heart failure and many other problems, she lived until October 15th 2023 ar the age of 18, every Dr who ever met her said she wouldn't live passed a certain age, well one week became one month and one year followed, they never thought she'd live as long as she did, she, like you wouldn't give them the satisfaction of winning! I always knew you'd be just fine because some people just have what it takes!! Welcome back Mr Renner, never let anyone tell you what you are capable of ❤❤❤❤
There is no longer any debate about who the strongest Avenger is. This brought tears to my eyes & I also love my Brooks. Keep on inspiring everyone!
I have some serious physical stuff that I’m dealing with, and you inspire me more than you know Jeremy.
I have titanium from my right foot all the way to my right jaw. Thanks to a drunk. I used to run and that is the only thing I can not do, but I can walk & I do that every single day. Every single morning when my feet hit the floor I thank God for another day. Your journey has inspired me to keep fighting on those days that everything hurts. Take care of yourself and keep punching every single day in the face and kickin' ass!!

Some people are destroyed by a tragedy. Some people recognize the gifts that tragedy can bestow upon them. Jeremy is obviously of the latter group and also has the public stature to pass this lesson on to the rest of us. Thanks for sharing your story.
In the Marvel Universe you played a superhero with next level human abilities. It is amazing how life imitates art. Of all of the actors who portrayed superheroes, you are the only one who truly is one. You went from talented human to near death, never to be fully functional again, to next level human defying EVERY odd in 15 months. As a person who is mere days younger than you and is as broken down as an old pickup truck, you are an inspiration! I had spinal surgery 7 months ago and have never missed a PT appointment, and although my hands started going painfully numb again in recent weeks, I keep going to work and coming home and crocheting and pushing through the pain. You inspire me to keep going and not let my brokenness define me or keep me down. God bless you man! You mean so much to so many and we are all so thankful you are here and thriving!!
Chris Evan’s comment on this accident will always live rent free in my head “That’s one tough mf’er. Has anyone even checked on the snowcat???” That’s a true friend right there! 😂 Seriously though, we’re all so glad you’re still with us. Take care!

Not the Avenger that people wanted. But absolutely, positively the Avenger we needed.
You are a hero and I am so proud you kept fighting. God bless you and protect you Mr. Renner.
