You never know how strong a mother is until she's put threw the test my daughter 25 has had 28 surgeries from kidney transplant to removel of the transplant I wouldn't move from her side either. thank our God for his Grace im happy you made it through your journey ❤🙌

Yes you have to put a patient on life support/breathing machine for open heart surgery.. They stop the heart and put the person on Bypass machine which is a machine that keeps the heart beating while the patient heart actually stops during the procedure which happens with all cardiac surgeries. You have to sedated them, give them pain medication and chemically paralyze the patient during the procedure. How did you think Cardiac/open heart surgery is done???? I'm just curious

When anybody has invading surgery of any type how did you think we keep them alive? Even plastic surgery. We put you on a breathing machine during the case. And those caps mean nothing to me. Did you call yourself yelling at me?? Lol. I' don't need a heart however I can start and stop one during any surgical case. Let's make that clear. You sound angry and mad. I'm literally laughing at your ignorance. It's obvious you have a low threshold on someone educating you and asking you a simple question. I hate when ppl say "especially a mother and sons love" now, don't get me wrong I get it, but as a daughter myself and often hearing my Mother and aunts say that over the yrs I think it did make me and even some of my female cousins feel a way.. me and my female cousins were hanging one day and the topic came up because one of my female cousins actually said it during the conversation.. So, we discussed it and, I concluded, along with the thoughts of other women that I know that it has a lot to do with the fact that women that do have sons look at it more so as "the man that will never leave them so speak" which is where all the coddling comes into play.. Ive NEVER heard Mother's refer to their daughters like that, and I don't get why.. it's like for example: the sons are always put in a higher light.. it's like that even in society other women don't really respect other women, but let a man come into play, but on the flip side to that men protect each other.. just a thought 🤔 Do you have any views on the topic, I promise I'm not trying to be rude..

I know Shaunie what you mean about your emotions. My husband had open heart surgery in July 2021, I could not sleep, eat or think clearly. My husband was talking to me and share with me about our business like he was not going to be here with us again, but praise God he made it through.

When I was a little girl around 9 year old 💓.I was suffering from a heart ❤️ Murmur.The hospital 🏥 staff ⚕️ was very nice 👍🙂. I stayed in hospital for two months. My parents was a support system 😄. I love them for that 😍

We have some dynamite children hospital in this nation . I had a little friend at the age of ten needed a heart transplant I thank organ donor this baby lived for 10 yrs . she was a blessing to her family . When she went in surgery the doctor told us she was saying God is a way maker coming out the same . The doctor confronted the grandmother with you’ll are a praying family yes we were to God be the glory .

It’s nothing like a mother’s love and God grace!

Very difficult for a parent to go through! However, God is Amazing. He is a living Miracle. I really like the entire ONeal family. Do know them personally of course, they seem like cool family members.

As a nurse you make an oath to be honest. I know that’s probably not the check in information they wanted to hear but she had to be honest and not give fake assurance! But i can truly say their trust in God got him through! He’s a miracle. Only God could see him through. 🙏🏾

He looks like Shaunie & sound like Shaq😂 I'm so happy that everything went well cause i know first hand how the process is cause I had to have open heart surgery after I suffered from 3 heart attacks(the first one I had to get stents and the 2nd one they replaced the stents with medicated stents)last one it was straight we gotta open her up and my children/family were devastated & scared, especially when I came back to my room after the surgery I had a chest tubes & tubes hanging out my neck, I looked weak and drained and that was so hard on them(Even though they were grateful that I was alive) So again I'm so happy that he made it through & it makes one hell of a difference for your recovery when you have a strong support system and surrounded by prayer warriors.

I had been asked at 30 something that I have a heart attack and I wasn't sure if I did but I actually have to become start using heart medication and it's tough when you're under 40 and you have heart problems but you want to act normal him being so young it won't be easy but it's doable just stay strong

I agree as a physician. The update should include. He is doing well, everything is going as planned. Unfortunately, you got someone who does not know how to interact with family of love ones undergoing surgery. More patient families need to speak up. Thanks
