Maybe if they had an actual reward for winning like money in the in season tournament they’d try but they don’t. It’s not that they’re bummy it’s that the NBA isn’t trying to get them to try and it’s not the players fault makes total sense to try and not get hurt

The “Skills” challenge was anything but. The guys didn’t hustle. It was like we just got in the gym, and we just dribbling till we warm up.. when oladipo was in it. He hustled and it was difficult. They made it easier for some lame reason

Imagine fully grown men who make millions playing basketball are so sensitive about memes. No, the NBA just isn’t competitive anymore. They get paid too much and pretty much just think about what girls they gonna hit up after the games or what they gonna eat or buy after. We will never see another AI or Kobe. They should cut brown some slack. The reason why no stars want to participate is because they don’t want to be embarrassed like this, and that’s how we ended up with some no name g league / temp contract players winning the dunk contest 2 years in a row… Brown was brave enough to participate, probably knowing he ain’t among the best dunker, give him respect for it.

For me, the all star game has always been my favorite game, even more than the playoffs. This all star game is an insult to any game lover. I in particular will never watch an all star game again because I don't want to ruin what is considered to be the best game of the year.
