@cool guy Fax, this whole notion of not caring for your parents when they get older is a western issue for the most part. I'm from the middle east and id have to be dead or literally disabled to not tend to my parents till death.

I am 71 and my wife tells me to grow up. She says she has 4 kids. This includes me. I tell people the Doctor said I would grow older. He never said I had to grow up. I am a Viet Nam veteran so I am thankful I can say that. Not everyone came back to be able to testify to that.

He knows what a man is suppose to do. I love this video. He is a good example of a black man taking care of his family. Society tries to paint a different picture of black men. But it is plenty of them out there that know how to care and protect their families. Two thumbs up to Shaq.

Good, solid parenting with tough love produces high quality adults, such as Shaq. He's an example for all Americans to admire and emulate.

What I admire about him is he leads by example he studied all the way through his basketball days, he became a sheriff I believe after he retired and shows he is no slouch. I am sure he would draw a line if any his family members were to do things were illegal and got out of hand. Kudos to you Shaq you rock.

A SHIBA sheriff first then went back to get doctorate for his mom. Now his 1st daughter graduated with honors and will be set to take over the law firm.

This man is simply incredible always helping and everyday giving .

Shaq is 1 of the most generous people out there generous financially and always has great advice always telling kids to listen to their mom dad grand parents. 😉

I think he probably knows whos taking advantage and whos not. Money for college or a new car for someone whos doing somethign with themselves is not a bad thing.
