I kind of understand. I didn't grow that much past 17 I was 6ft 5 now 6ft 6. But I was wearing a size 14 at 13 years old and 6ft 1. Now I'm size 15.

I can't imagine this kids life as I was the exact opposite. When I was 13, looked like I was 10 and life was very , very tough as all of your classmates feel like older kids. People used to ask if I was a genius and skipped a couple of grades. But I persevered, ended up at 5'8" and decades later, all is well.

@@NumberOneBlitz I'm right there with you, it's funny because as you get older your height becomes a positive, but as a kid oddly enough, you are often ostracized for it. It makes interpersonal relationships pretty difficult when you are 11 and bigger than your friends' parents. Nobody believes how old you are, everyone asking the same tired jokes or if you play basketball. It was honestly torture.

I'm 30 an a 15 US now, I stopped around 17 with my feet thankfully. But middle school was a 13 and moving up

He was 13, almost 14yrs old then, that was over 3yrs ago. He's 6'7" 250lbs with a full scholarship to GT. He's 17 or 18now.

OMG, not having your own bedroom. OH the horror. If you had a roof over your head, food and clothes, clean water, access to education, etc, you had it 90% better than most people in the world. I seriously can't believe so many people agreed that not having your own bedroom was total deprivation and child abuse.

This is absolutely phenomenal from shaq, And the mostly important part is when he said to the young man,listen to our mom and grandmom cos they know more than you do,and I think that's what's lacking rite now in this society. Phil Harrison played basketball at South Side HS In Newark, NJ. I always looked up to him, as he graduated about 7 years before me. Shaq is just awe inspiring, and his charm is off the charts. He helps so many people, and most of the time, there are no cameras.

Shaq is always showing the love to others. He is truly a man of his words.

Shaq is an American treasure. 1992 or 93 he used to work in the soup kitchens at the holidays in Orlando. No PR team or cameras. Just doing what he was raised to do. Giving back from his rich talent and success.

I love this guy. He's genuine and just keeps giving out to people in need.

Man I'm telling you she sure showed the worl what it is like to show kindness although when your rich and famous. She literally nailed that interview. Now I can see how and why Shaquille o'neal is that person he is. I remember he was the only one who would acknowledge Kobe Bryant parents at the funeral and hugged them when no one would acknowledge them.
