Shaq and his insecurities, may break the team up. You heard it here first. Though NBC, may break it up any way. This gives Ernie, more relief to say, we had a good run. Shaq was disrespectful to Jokic and his colleagues. I wouldn't want to be around, somebody like that afterwards.

Shaq had no shooting skills. It's either a dunk or a little hook shot. Anything outside (FTs, perimeter or 3 Points) he sucks. Coaches even named a "Hack a Shaq" game plan when they are down just so his team could catch up. If Shaq was just as good as Joker was on the FT line, he wouldn't have his MVPs be taken away. M.J did get his MVPs taken away though.

And one of those losses was because he got hurt and missed two games of the Finals. I always say Bill Russell won when he had the best team. 0:37 and 1:16 already shows this wasn't really about Shai, but more on why Shaq feels this way about the MVP voting. I don't mind the argument for Shai as it is indeed very valid. SGA and Jokic met the same criterias during the regular season- both their teams would be lost without them, got to the top because of them, and they are both averaging consistent efficiency- but they had two different advantages: averaging triple doubles for Joker, and leading a young team to the top seed of East (2nd in the entire league) for SGA. It's just really Shaq's way of arguing it that makes it feel off because it shows great personal bias.

Jokic has never played with another all-star designated player, or even a formerly designated player save for 2 players that currently ride the bench (Deandre Jordan, etc.) Shai, MVP runner-up w/ 15 votes is not a leader in any statistical category, basic or advanced. Jokic is more dominant than Shaq and thats why he's pissed. Shaq has always admitted Kareem is/was/always will be a better player but he hangs his hat on being most dominant big man. Jokic with 3 MVPs is not only the best player but the most dominant and absolutely unstoppable unlike Shaq who despite being 10x the athletic ability, couldn't shoot outside the paint, was a horrendous ft shooter and always missed 25 games due to being out of shape or injured every season. You're proving Shaq's point. The criteria changes because people pick who they want to see get the award and then try to justify it afterwards. Both Shaq and Kobe were robbed. 19 and 10?? That's MVP numbers when you're a liability on defense as opposed to a player with better stats, a similar team record, and an elite defender?? Or in Kobe's case, a player that nearly doubled him in points per game? It doesn't make sense.

Shai's SURROUNDING TEAM is NOT better than Jokic, sorry but it isn't Murray is arguably better than any #2 Shai has (when healthy). Jokic is about to get swept because he aint a pure scorer. WINNING MATTERS. So jokic gets ALL the credit when his teams win the regular season when half the league doesn't try, but "he doesn't have enough help" when he gets (potentially) SWEPT in the playoffs? I can't say other teams would have the same success with Jokic because of the way he plays he needs the team to perform just as well as him most nights to win games. He did everything for that team. They went from 29 to 62 wins. It wasn't just that he was the best player on the best team, but he was the obvious reason they were the best team and he turned Amare into a superstar. Shaq has done more to tarnish Nash's legacy than I have seen any single player do to another player.
