Also I have a problem with him calling SGA the baddest mo fo. Come on, the baddest m f should not be foul baiting the whole game every game and stat-wise he was worse than both Jokic and Luka this season, with Luka probably advancing to Conference Finals over him.

With a soft, gentle flick of his arms hands and fingers the ball goes exactly where he directs it. There's a strength behind that flick that sends the ball exactly where its needed, and coupled with his humility that's a greatness that might stay around for a while. 1) Jokic 2) Jordan 3) Lebron This is the ranking on all time PER stat. I'm not saying stats should decide it, but don't act like Jokic isn't a legitimate MVP consideration. The numbers say he is an all time great. His game is fun to watch. What is the issue? And don't say race everyone loves Bird.

The issue is that the NBA media likes foul baiting guards who score 30 a game, who can’t rebound, pass, or guard; James Harden all over again. SGA brings very little but shooting to the table.

in hollingers per list anthony davis is 5 all time we all know he isnt really consistent. Also its just shows how dominant guys like jordan and lbj are that they so high in PER when PER also calculates total rebounds which is harder to achieve as guard

  • @DD-rk6kn

the hollingers PER list is truly flawed and favours big men over guards and wingers Embiid has the highest PER all time at 28.41. But the list starts at 15,000 career minutes played embiid is at 13.835 minutes. So he averages about 30 minutes a game so embiid only needs to play 40 games to be number 1 on the official per list

@@DD-rk6kn What stat do you like? Plus-minus always appealed to me, and you've got Jokic and Jordan 1 and 2 there followed by Lebron (according to pro basketball reference). Then Magic, then Robinson who I always felt was underrated. You got to be 2-way to rank in the all time elites.

The funniest part is the league is so short sited they don’t understand is that a transcendent nuggets dynasty is amazing for the league regardless of how boring you think jokic is. Not to mention watching Jokic is not the slightest bit boring nor the fact that his surrounding cast can bring the excitement. The league could only pray for another spurs type dynasty. When a spurs type team is your 3rd or 4th most exciting draw to the league it makes your league incredibly interesting and valuable.

MVP is that player who is the most impactfull for his teams success! Numbers don't necessarily show it,it's not about the highest scorer, or greatest assists or rebounder! It's the player with the greatest gravity, player with whom the team would loose its identity and usually numbers show in a spectrum, not just one stat! There is award for the highest scorer, recognition, but if you awarded highest scorer, it would lead to selfishness! It's also about the character of the individual, how is he influencing the team from top to bottom and coaching staff! Luka had greatest Numbers and he is going to runaway with a streak of MVP,probably the other kid,but nobody wants it less and nobody deserves it more than Jokic! He doesn't only influence his team but the league, you see centers passing and playing team first, Shack has a problem with that because he was one dimensional and egotistical ,competing against his team-mate Kobi, instead of sharing, they would have had 8 titles!

I have not watched the NBA for over 25 years, the only reason I am back is to watch Jokic play as a team. He is the modern day plumber from the 90's.This is WNBA level sabotage. Love the defense this year too. hope this forces other teams to play as a team, and play defense, and actually play games.
