Lung cancer can be caused by smoking but even then 65,000 people a year die from second hand smoking which means they have never smoked either but due to smoke inhalation they are diagnosed with it. @@RealGilmoreGirl ...That statement you made is false as far as you saying you have to go 12 years or more for the cancer to be beat!! You can go 12 years or more in remission with either breast cancer or any type of cancer and the cancer can and will return in either the same area or in another part of the body. I speak from experience because I had Esophageal Cancer in 1995, Breast Cancer in 2008 & Ovarian Cancer in 2011. I'm in remission right now and I pray the cancer never returns but my odds are very slim...sad thing is, it most likely will!!! My heart & prayers goes out to Shannen Doherty!

This news though devastating, doesn't mean the end, by any means. I had stage 4 breast cancer, a very aggressive kind, 29 years ago. They gave me 6 months but God had other plans for me. Don't give up! Always have hope that God can absolutely heal you. He is a God of miracles. The Bible days "With God, all things are possible." I am living proof of this!

I’m speaking as someone who was raised as a Christian, even though I was always cynical about the conflicting messages. Stage 4 isn’t a death sentence either I’ve known plenty of people who have healed and in remission and is cancer free. Don’t give up keep the faith even if you feel like you are in a dark place. Don’t let fear take you ! Speak Life not Death !

Unfortunately stage 4 is pretty terrible...it means it's spread :-( And it's within 5 years remission which is also not good :-( If you make it past 5 years you have more of a chance.

The miracle is not the healing of this body of flesh and blood. Even if you survive now..you will die one day eventually. Then what is the miracle. The miracle is to get ETERNAL LIFE not from the body but from the Spirit. Jesus ( God Almighty himself) told us what to do so we can get this Eternal Life. He told us this. My dad has stage 4 liver cancer. He has no more metastasis as he has done radiotherapy. But he is still under hormonotherapy now. I pray for him everyday so it doesn't come back or that he can treat it well.

RIP your not in pain and fighting the disease anymore you are at peace. We all have to go one day. I hate this disease there is always someone somewhere that knows someone who had this or going through this.

This is the most honest interview I have ever seen. As a breast cancer survivor, I also said “why me?”, but she is so right. Why not me. NO ONE deserves what cancer does to us. I desperately pray that she wins this fight.

Looking at her now and remembering her from 90210 is heartbreaking. Good luck Shannon and keep pushing on to rid that beast from your body.

I hope for a miracle for you. I had depression and suicidal thoughts when I was 15 and I watched 90210 to keep me distracted. GOD BLESS YOU SHANNEN. HUGS🧡

My heart goes out to her. She will forever be apart of my childhood. I grew up watching her on 90210. I hope she makes a full recovery and go into remission. I will keep her in my prayers.

My mom battled through metastatic breast cancer. She worked for as long as she could, too. My mom (Linda Faye Boyer - Lee) was a hard worker. She was always worried about everyone around her (family, her students, friends). She did her best to hide her cancer diagnosis. She was an amazing mom, friend and teacher. On my mom's last day, her final four words were, "thank you. Love you."

ALEXANDER MONDAY the battery was stolen out of our car in 1969!! We had total coverage with State Farm for nearly 20 years. The battery theft was the first and ONLY claim. State Farm immediately cancelled our policy! Think of how much we had paid in premiums!! We could have bought 2 new cars with that money! All over their policy to never pay up!!

That 90210 episode entitled It's Only a Test, was an *extremely* important episode when it originally aired back in 1991. I was 15 at the time and that episode was my first introduction (along with a million other young teenage girls I'm sure) to breast cancer and the importance of self-examination starting at a young age. I'm so proud of the 90210 writers and Shannon for taking on such an important topic and handling it so well. Unfortunately breast cancer can strike at any age and while most lumps do end up benign, self-examination is crucial to early detection & treatment and that episode played a pivotal role in educating millions of young women on the subject. Also you gotta remember that the episode aired in 1991, way before the internet and social media. Nowadays you can access info on breast cancer with the click of a button but that wasn't the case in 1991. This was how important subjects were brought to light and addressed back then, by addressing them on hugely successful tv shows like 90210. Relevant topics like AIDS, drugs, sexual assault & rape, teen pregnancy and physical abuse were all dealt with on 90210 and the writers did a fantastic job educating an entire generation of young people on these important issues. So don't ever be sorry this episode aired, it's importance cannot be overstated. I guarantee you it helped, and continues to help still, a lot of young women who watch & rewatch the episode.

There's something saintly and angelic coming out of her now. I see it all through this interview. For being someone so afraid and so in trouble, she still manages to worry most about others, it seems, more than herself. This is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking things I have ever seen! What a darling, sweet woman she is. I wish I could wipe all her sickness and worries away, just as the tears on her face. God bless her beautiful soul! I will pray for you, dear Shannon

If you look at the places where poverty and disease is at an all time high its Africa and Asia. Africa has everything. This man is not a medical doctor, and he does not treat patients, yet indicated both are true. Jeffrey Osie's job only requires a two year degree, and he simply creates the images that doctors use. 1:28 19:00 He stated that "every time he touched me, I fell down" but the video shows him touched many times and then pushed onto the floor with force. Here is the info on his job's educational requirement: Per bls . gov: "Radiologic technologists and MRI technologists typically need an associate’s degree." Thoughts and prayers. At the end of 2018 I had a dbl mastectomy due to cancer. It petrifies me I may get cancer again. Shannon's strength is encouraging to us who are dealing with cancer and the lengthy emotional toll we deal with. Peace to you Shannon

It has advanced ,breast cancer is now one of the most curable cancers. Women with stage 4 can live a lot longer now. I cant imagine at all what any stage goes through , prayers for all who are going through this terrible disease.

Because we don't change our diets when something like this occurs...We just rely on treatments and medicines...Sour Sop is 10x more effective than chemo...

I watched her previous video during her remission to give myself strength when my mother was going through chemotherapy (and still is ). It is heartbreaking to learn that cancer came back . But with her strength, I am sure she can beat this nasty illness once again! Keep moving and doing your thing Shannen! To be so open and public about it is really amazing of you, and please know that you are not alone ! Many people watch what you do and get inspired in ways you cannot imagine. Let's fight this nasty illness and hope that some time down the road, you'll be kicking everybody's asses again! Don't lose hope!

God...this is horrible. She’s been fighting for a year and I pray her treatment plan continues to keep it tamped down.

I met her many times my old boss knew her they both lived in Malibu she is a great lady

It’s scary how it came back after years of remission and at stage 4.

Usually comes back in another form 10x worse within 5 years.

I cancelled my home owners with State Farm over 15 years ago after they denied my claim for roof damage. All the houses (and a church) got new roofs except for those of us with State Farm.

2020 has really gotten off to a horrible start.
