Unfortunately the stage 4 breast cancer is not curable at this point, but it is treatable. The brain cancer has a low 5 year survival rate just on its own. I wish her all the best and to anyone else reading this who may be experiencing something similar.

My wife experienced the same issue. It was the hardest journey we ever took. My wife was a very strong woman and I am thankful, she was stronger than I. Hers was unstoppable. It’s been years now, I still miss her

Prayers for peace over you in Jesus name.

I've been through this and I'm still here 8 years later. They made me a mask after putting wax on my face. For someone with claustrophobia it was hard. I prayed through each 20 minute treatment, lost three stone in weight and could not eat solids. I have missing hair that will never grow back but I'm still here. I wish Shannen strength and hope for future happiness.

Please look into long term fasting. Up to you but ive seen a fair amount of people claiming water fasting up to 30 days got rid of cancer and it not coming back, with proper guidence i suppose

Cancer is terrifying because it's the "great equalizer". Cancer doesn't care if we're rich/poor, tall/short, fat/thin or if we're from Papua New Guinea or New York City. I pray for all those effected by it.

As someone with claustrophobia, I felt every second of her terror. I pray for you Shannon with all I have in me. You are so strong. Much stronger than you realize. Our hearts are with you ❤❤

@sdfghgtre3w2345 Well, as long as we're talking about sedatives we "like", my favourite is Largactil. It's not even an anti-anxiety benzo. It's a heavy-duty antipsychotic. It's the mother of all sedatives. It was even mentioned by Dr. Loomis (the psychiatrist in the _Halloween_ movies) as the drug he prescribed to Mike Myers. (Loomis actually mentions "Thorazine," which is the brand name in North America).

I was in Highschool/ college watching Shannen in Beverly Hills 90210…those were memorable moments in my life growing up… I’m 50 now, Shannen is my fellow gen x’er, and I can’t believe she is facing death at such a young age, and battling this terrifying terminal illness. I am amazed by her courage and resilience…May God bless her🙏🙏🙏

my brother in law shared the expirience in 016- he got the horror- but it was worth it- didnt come back until now !!

My mom passed away from breast cancer when I was a teen she was in her early forties. I’m 52 a mother of two and I’m BRCA 1 positive. Cancer is one disease I wish didn’t exist. I’m praying for you Shannon I’m so sorry she has to go through this alone ❤

Me hice la prueba porque todas las mujeres de mi lado materno han muerto de cáncer de mama y de ovario, las únicas que quedan son los niños. Yo digo que todavía se haga la masectomía lateral bilateral y la histerectomía. Mi hijo menor tiene autismo severo y me necesita alrededor de mi hijo cumplirá 18 años en agosto

Bless her lord. As someone who just fought the same type of breast cancer she has which was Triple negative breast cancer. One of the most aggressive breast cancers known other than metastasis breast cancer. My TNBC is stage 2 and I did 14 rounds of 3 different types of the strongest chemo out there with one having the nickname the red devil and let me just say it truly rightfully deserves it’s nickname. I did 3 breast reconstruction surgeries over the last year and a half and I just had my 2 scan in 2yrs and by the grace of god and my beliefs in him and the power of prayer I can say I am going into year 2 of being in remission from thus awful disease. I can’t say I beat cancer but If I can hit the 5yr mark of clean tests and scans with no signs or symptoms of BC I can hopefully say one day that I BEAT cancer. I’m still hopeful for that miracle and answered prayer. I am a miracle walking right now because with TNBC women are most likely post I’ve for the BRACCA 1 or 2 cancer mutation gene and thankfully I was negative for all of the cancer causing genetics. Based on that I wasn’t even suppose to of gotten BC but I did and ended up with a type that is usually already metastasized into the body by the time it’s found and it’s usually found not only in the breast, lymph nodes but also in the lungs and brain. It tends to move and spread up on women. Thankfully for me it was only in the huge 5cm lump in my right breast and only 1 of my lymph nodes had to be removed for testing but again thankfully it was negative for cancer and only had a little infection in it. I pray for anyone dealing with cancer of any kind because I j ow that pain and sickness it causes but a positive mind set, faith in God and in the power of prayer you can get through this and rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

I wish you make it past the five yr mark and beyond with clear scans! My mom had TNBC she was diagnosed at stage 4 so I tried to find ways to lengthen her life as much as possible. I found out that although TNBC is an aggressive form there are different subtypes of TNBC so some are more aggressive than others. Also if you have metastatic breast cancer but its a less aggressive type of breast cancer it's better than having metastatic breast cancer with an aggressive type of bc. I was diagnosed last year with bc. Although I was diagnosed early I will never say I'm cancer free bec I'm a worrywart.

My niece of 27yrs old died of stage4metastatic breast cancer this past DECEMBER,WAS HORRIFIC&brutalon her and her family .😢will miss her 4ever❤

My mom just finished radiation treatments for her breast cancer, after having a breast tumor removed. Thank God it's the lowest grade. It did spread to a couple of lymph nodes, but I'm praying she'll be ok. I lost a good friend two years ago next month to breast cancer. I'm so sad to hear this about Shannen. I was a huge 90210 and Brenda fan back in the day. I know she's been battling this for a long time. I hope for a miracle healing for her, or the easiest passing possible if that's what ends up happening. My friend did not have one. 😔

I had a tumor with surgical removal, a revision bc I was leaking spinal fluid, and 5 rounds of radiation. It's been 7 months, and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to support myself. The only "good" thing is that I get monitored very closely. If they can treat it with radiation it must be on the small side, so I wish her recovery. If anyone is going through breast cancer treatment my recommendation is to say that you get headaches (even if you don't), that way insurance will pay for an MRI. I didn't and got diagnosed due to vomiting.

Awh, poor Shannon she’s so brave. I hope she has people in her corner to walk her thru this journey.

This is what scares me the most about cancer. You can beat it, but it comes back for you. And when it comes back, that's it.

I am going through chemo for breast cancer myself. I've been talking to a lot of women going through or having gone through the disease. Yes, it may come back, but even so you're not a goner. My next door neighbour is a breast cancer survivor after two recurrences and after 23 years of the first incidenc and a mastectomy. Being scared is not an option.

Cancer is extremely debilitating and painful, it's like being eaten alive. Sometimes morphine doesn't work, it's a terrible disease.

Don't put your life on hold ? People are supposed to be enjoying themselves and going out after coming home from chemo and throwing up for four days straight ? Or when they get neuropathy so bad they can't even feel their feet. Or when they are beyond exhausted but the steroids have them too hyped up to sleep. And wtf does you can do anything you set your mind to have to do with cancer ? No, you can't run the Boston marathon when you are getting cancer treatment. Take your feel good sayings somewhere else

I am the same age as Shannon. Watched her religiously, praying sh recovers and has peace. So sorry you are going through this. Sending love and prayers

I'm the same age as Shannon, and loved watching her on Beverly Hills, 90210 back in the day. It breaks my heart to see her like this. Life is so so short..getting shorter. I pray she makes it through and beats the big 'C" once and for all.
