Thanks for playing this one! The wedding song thing is pretty cliche… but when my daughter was born in 1999 I dedicated this song to her. To this day when I hear it I think of a new daddy just smitten with his precious new baby girl and dedicating his life to her from this moment on. ❤️

This is not a crossover. Shania should have never been billed as a country artist. A true crossover, is the historic "Here You Come Again" by Dolly Parton. Shania was truly the start of the end of real country music. Now we have pop country, rock country, rap country.....it's sad.

My Aunt had this song sung at her wedding. It was beautiful.

Yeah, the album version is actually a duet between her and another country singer (Bryan White), and is definitely reminiscent of a Disney prince/princess duet. But most people seem to associate this song with weddings, since it's such a radical expression of committed love -- you'll get a lot of commenters saying they played it at their wedding or heard it at one. You've got to listen to her mega-hit "You're Still The One" if you haven't yet! It's another sultry love song like this one, about a later point in one's relationship.

I like the duet version with Bryan White so much better than just her alone. Her life story is such a rollercoaster of highs and lows. It was heartbreaking when she lost her voice after the trauma of her husband cheating on her with her best friend /assistant. She sounds different now but still a wonderful talent. One of the most seductive videos ever is her “You’re Still The One” video.

She is absolutely stunning ... and sings like an angel!

I remember this song was like the #1 wedding song at the time. Everyone was having it sung. My cousin was one of them. Shania is my favorite one legged singer.

Her live performance of this at the concert in Chicago's Grant Park (July, '03) was outstanding. The 50,000 fans in attendance, who sang the last word of the song, when Shania pointed the mic towards them, apparently thought so, as well. It's on "the tube", in case you want to give yourself a treat at some point in the future. ( The whole gig was top-level)

My ex-wife and I would play her songs on CD's every time we were in the car driving anywhere.😂 We even got see her in concert once. It was an awesome concert well worth the $70 dollars each. Plus, a little somethin somethin later on if you know what I mean. 😉😛 Good times!!! I miss her very much. (My Ex)

This song was played at every wedding and every bride thought they looked like her.

You should watch her live performances from the 'UP' concert in Chicago, particularly 'Rock this County '. The whole show was amazing.

There is a duet version with Bryan White. It's awesome but this is the version that was released on the radio. The duet was on her album. The duet version was what we used at the end of our wedding ceremony. We kissed and the words "from this moment" started playing. It couldn't have been timed any better. Funny note was that the pastor wasn't supposed to tell us to kiss until after this song but it worked out.

You should do a reaction to Bryan White, the male back-up vocals on this song. He had a lot of hits back in the day. "That's Another Time", "Someone Else's Star", "Look At Me Now", "So Much For Pretending", "I'm Not Supposed To Love You Any More", "Rebecca Lynn"

I recommend the Chicago 2003 concert by Shania Twain, it's incredible, you won't regret it.

It was before for me, as I didn’t have to wait for this song! She was hot and still is hot!

I remember Shania Twain being so popular during the "Garth Brooks" years that Brooks and Twain even leaked into my world of music. There were a few years where you could be a child of Led Zepplin and Van Halen but still listen to the new version of country. Previously only the outlaws of country were respectable, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Sr. or Jr. and maybe Willie Nelson. Then Taylor Swift came along and turned country into a Kardashian type of circus.

I like this version but the version with her and Bryan white is my favorite version. 🧡🥰

Shania does have it all in this video, but she is far from the only female singer with great looks and a voice to match. How about Linda Ronstadt, Whitney Houston, Leann Rimes? All of them could have knocked this song out of the park, just as Shania does here.

If you haven't done so since you made this video, listen to the album version of this song. It features country singer Bryan White who is the person that's harmonizing with her in the video. Throughout the album version Shania and Bryan take turns singing lines to each other, almost like they are taking turns singing wedding vows.
