This is one of her several horses. She spends a great deal of time with them as is obvious. She is a top tier, unrecognized, horse trainer. Shania loves her horses and they love her. As a horse owner myself, I know as she, horses are the most marvelous creatures. I happened to catch this show in Vegas, it was absolutely amazing. I'll remember it forever. I also love the way Shania honors her Native Heritage with the Native flute incorporated into the music.

I vaguely recall when I was a kid the country community being up in arms about her style. A good half of the country community was trying to say she wasnt country and it felt like that whole thing went on forever, people fighting over what genre she was. She’s spectacular!! Love Shania

Absolutely beautiful. Her voice and the amazing connection she has with her horse. Horses are very intelligent but also quite reactive and emotional. And with an educated and also intuitive handler they can become the partner of your dreams. Nothing beats the love of a horse. It’s for life.

@Maggie Renee It really is a pity that Shania will never sound like that ever again. However, I am looking forward to hearing how she sounds now as she is producing a new album with her current voice. The fact that she can sing at all right now is a miracle. We'll have to treasure that for as long as her voice lasts.

This was at Caesar’s Palace. In 2012. It was after her bitter divorce from music producer Jon “Mutt” Lange. She remained Frederic Thiebaud in January 2011. So this was after her issues with her voice! And by the way, she wrote this about Mutt Lange, before he had an affair with her (former) best friend. In a karmic twist, Frederic Thiebaud was married to Shania’s best friend. They were both betrayed by their spouses, and they found each other!

Written by Shania Twain and Mutt Lange. Ticks gave ST lyme disease. It made her change the way she sings. Other celebrities who suffered from lyme disease are Debbie Gibson and Avril Lavigne. Yet, Shania still can sing! 😃 Before meeting Shania Twain, Mutt Lange wrote, sang backing vocals and/or produced hit songs with Huey Lewis, AC/DC, Foreigner, Thomas Dolby, Def Leppard, Loverboy, Billy Ocean and The Cars before writing and producing hit songs with Bryan Adams. While working with BA, Mutt discovered Shania Twain. Great song!

She got an awesome vocal coach to help her like Tom Keifer (lead singer of Cinderella) and Brian Litrell (Backstreet Boys). Cause of all the years of singing and touring. I watched this video of Shania, and so I searched through your channel looking for a reaction to Joni Mitchell, another Canadian talent who in her case raises the creation to a whole other level. I'm pretty sure you must have heard of her, so was somewhat surprised to find not one of her creations amongst your collection! Voice, lyrics, guitar accompaniment and even often painting her own album cover art! Joni was the master of all. Her music and poetic lyricism will thrill so many of your listener/watchers I'm sure. I'm suggestion a number called "Dawntreader" as a starting point. Other more familiar numbers include "Clouds" and "Both Sides Now", Big Yellow Taxi and Help Me. Etc, etc. But I think you'd really appreciate Dawntreader for some reason. BTW the Clintons named their daughter after hearing Chelsea Morning apparently. ;)

This is a beautiful song and what an incredible show (it better be for what they charge for Vegas show tickets!). Shania co-wrote the song with her husband at the time, Robert "Mutt" Lange, who also produced the album (he's also famous for having produced ACDC's classic, multi-million selling come-back album, Back In Black). I just read her bio and I thought you might like this crazy fact.....Shania and Lange divorced after he had an affair with her best friend and about a year later she married Swiss Nestlé executive Frédéric Thiébaud, her best friend's former husband! I think the moral of the story is...the phrase "You're Still The One" has an expiration date! 😆
